I have been getting some questions here and there about my solution for displaying SC cars. Heres a small breakdown!
First, credits goes to TheGreenBrick in Youtube for sharing this idea to the world!
Each display floor consists of:
28 brick 2x2 corner
4 tile 1x1
2 plate 2x16
2 plate 2x10
2 plate 2x6
1 tile 2x2 with studs on edge
8 slope 1x1 31 degrees
10 tile 2x4
4 tile 2x3
4 tile 2x2
1 tile 1x2
Most of the sets share the same distance between wheels, but often they not, so you gotta be creative and shift around the position of the parts to get it right. Also depending on the car, sometimes you need to shit the support slopes back or forth (long tails or long noses).
Then there’s the details on the top floor of the rack, you want to keep it smooth and stud free, so the above list changes a bit. You gotta do some math 🤓 Also for the DeLorean I used 2 mini fig holders (2x2 with edge studs) to display both the Doc and Marty.
I did 7 corners height between floors, but 8 is recommended for easier placement and removal of the cars! I just lack vertical space in my shelves… but it works fine!
For the mini figs, I like displaying them with their hair and holding their helmet (when applicable). I use a Bar 1 with angle stud that fits into the helmet and the mini figs hand.
I usually buy from Brick Owl unless it builds the stack from too many different stores, which increases the pice significantly due to shipping, so I switch to Pick A Brick instead.
All cars fit, even the F1. But not the crazy ass hot rod thats like 1 meter long though. Obviously.
5 floors per rack works well. I haven’t tried 6, it probably does just fine too, but more might end up being a bit unstable.
Hope you understand the idea, and hope this inspires more people to try it! It’s modular and scalable! But it works best for sideways displaying. Happy building!
Hey everyone!
My Batmobile build is live now on LEGO Ideas!
It’s part of a contest, so no public voting, LEGO will choose the winner. You can check it out at the link below (more images there too!).
If you like my work, I also have another LEGO Ideas project (Medieval theme) that does need votes. Any support is appreciated!

Thanks for taking a look, vote and share 🙂
Hi guys, yesterday I finally found time to build this set but in the end unluckily I could not manage to finish it cause there were two of the same pieces but I needed one of the two to be different... never happened this to someone of you? what to do in this case?
What a build. To begin with, creating a car without the base chassis module is already amazing. Second, the techniques, angles and creative solutions. And last, 2 doors. 2 doors I used when I was 6 in 1989 on mega simple Lego cars/trucks.
The front build of the car is crazy. And when plugged in, yes. Thank you Lego for such a fun little build!
My only concern, as always with these kind of sets, touch with caution hehe…
