we really pretending anyone would actually draft MJ over a 6’9 285lb Magic Johnson?? lol

i’m so done with the nostalgia glaze in this sub. if you’re a gm and you see a guy who is 6’9 285lbs, with a 40 inch vertical, who passes like magic but still ends up being the all-time leading scorer you take him 10/10 times.

how is he the youngest to every single scoring milestone from 5k to 40k and people still say he’s not a 'pure scorer'? if he’s not a scorer and he’s the #1 of all time, what does that say about your goat?

also 9 straight finals in the toughest era of all time is way more impressive than 6-0 against guys who were part-time plumbers. kobe and lebron played tougher comp, that’s why the rings are spread out. if you want to talk about just rings, go stan bill russell and his 11 chips. i’d rather make the finals every year than get bounced in the 1st round for half my career like mj did pre-scottie
