Gua lagi pengen banget makan popcorn. Tapi klo beli udh jadi pasti mahal gak sih(?). Jadi gua cari toko online/offline yang mungkin jual popcorn bijinya itu. Boleh sarannya dong.

Toko Tahu Priangan

Viral as it is, it did live up to the hype. The tofu here is really nice without any bad smell and so is the soy milk and the dessert. The tofu pudding is definitely the highlight, soft, silky, (softer than gyukaku milk pudding), and the toppings complimented it very very well. Happened to come a bit before 7am so it was really empty but even if it isnt, I'd happily line up (not more than 1hr tho lol)

Nemu menu ini di salah satu cafe di Semarang. Tempatnya gak spacious atau wah gitu, tapi semua menu yang disajikan gak ada yang gagal. ;D

Sourdough-nya enak! Gak yang manis atau terlalu stiff gitu. Bumbu yang dipake juga gak too much, jadi light dan rasanya pas. Untuk harga 70 ribuan, worth it sih menurut aku.

Mei Gomak in Somasir Island, North Sumatra

Our host in Samosir, North Sumatra served us this yumazing noodle for breakfast. Loved the coconut milk + andaliman pepper broth.

Indonesian traditional snacks, Bali

Sarapanku pagi ini, beli di tukang sayur lagi :D Aku beli dadar gulung, ketan, lupis, gethuk, dan talam lapis. Sama yang warna hijau-pink di tengah aku tidak tahu namanya.

Beberapa jajan ada yang diberi gula merah. Aku suka sekali (gula merah di sini teksturnya kental, hampir seperti madu).

Harganya tidak sampai 15 ribu.

B2 di Bandung

Hello, I wanna ask for some recommendations for your favorite pork dishes in Bandung (preferably in around Cihampelas-Sukajadi-Setiabudi-Dago-Pasteur) area. For the pork dishes that I had are Nasi Goreng Cek Acong in Jalan Pandu (I gave it a 9.5/10), Pork Is Good in Cibadak (7.5/10), Porcafe in Ciumbuleuit (7/10), Nasi Goreng Awih (9/10), Sanpachi (8.5/10) and I think that's it. The area doesn't have to be in these areas that I mentioned but I'd love to find a great pork dishes in the area. I'm open to any type of pork related dishes (like Ramen, Nasi Campur, Mie B2, etc)

Nasi Campur Pontianak 66 Depok

Setelah sekian lama nyobain babi lagi, dulu sempat rada trauma karena bau dan mungkin tempatnya juga ga bagus.

Siobak enak. Babi kecap juga. Tapi chasio tidak terlalu berkesan, apa karena campur2 jadi rasanya ketutupan? Lapchiong lumayan, kayak bakso2 gitu tapi lebih crunchy.

Kuah kental itu mestinya dimakannya gimana ya? Dituang gitu ke atas nasinya? Atau dimakan terpisah? Sayur asin juga?

Trus ada dua sambal, sambal biasa dan sambal terasi, sambal biasa tuh kayak asam2 gt. Sukanya sambal yg pedasnya.

Harga gofud 80rb. Buat gw agak banyak sih porsinya. mungkin kalau orang lain cukup. Tapi dikasih sendok 2.

Masak bekal makan siang sendiri di Bangkok: habis 17k rupiah saja

Sudah hampir 10 tahun tinggal dan kerja di Bangkok, tapi comfort food saya tetap masakan Indonesia 🇮🇩

Di sini makanan enak banyak banget, tapi entah kenapa saya tetap paling nyaman makan masakan rumahan buatan sendiri. Hampir setiap hari saya masak. Bukan cuma karena lebih hemat fan sehat, tapi juga karena ada rasa puas dan happy yang susah dijelaskan kalau makan makanan sendiri.

Hari ini menu bekal saya sederhana banget, tapi honestly bikin happy:

Orak-Arik Wortel Kubis + Tempe Goreng Airfryer

Tempe Goreng Praktis
Bahan:
- Setengah papan tempe
- 1 bungkus bumbu marinasi instan Desaku

Cara masak:
Tempe direbus dulu dengan bumbu marinasi sampai bumbunya meresap. Setelah dingin, saya oles tipis minyak kelapa lalu masuk airfryer suhu 180°C selama 15 menit.

Hasilnya garing, wangi, dan nggak bikin enek karena minim minyak 🤍

Orak-Arik Wortel Kubis
Bahan:
- 1 wortel
- 1/2 kubis kecil
- Bumbu halus:
- 5 bawang merah
- 3 bawang putih
- 2 kemiri kecil (ini rahasia gurihnya 😌)

Cara masak:
Bumbunya saya blender tanpa air, lalu ditumis pakai minyak kelapa sampai harum banget. Setelah itu tinggal masukin wortel parut dan kubis iris tipis.

Tambahkan garam dan sedikit MSG sesuai selera, lalu masak sampai sayurnya layu dan manis alami dari kubisnya keluar 🥺

Porsinya pas buat 2x makan.

Breakdown biaya masak di Bangkok 🇹🇭

Tempe
- Tempe Indonesia 300 gram: 60 THB (~Rp32k)
- Dipakai setengah → sekitar 30 THB / Rp16k

Bumbu marinasi Desaku
- 15 THB (~Rp8k)

Wortel
- Paket isi 5: 32 THB (~Rp17k)
- Dipakai 1 buah → sekitar 6 THB / Rp3.5k

Kubis
- Promo 3 buah: 15 THB (~Rp8k)
- Dipakai setengah → sekitar 2.5 THB / Rp1.3k

Bumbu lain + minyak + gas
- Estimasi sekitar 9 THB / Rp5k

Total biaya:
- Sekitar 62.5 THB
- atau sekitar Rp33.800
- untuk 2 porsi

Jadi jatuhnya cuma 31 THB / Rp16.900 per meal

Oh ya, saya membeli bawang merah kupas 500 gram seharga 89 THB/48k dan bawang outih kupas 500 gram seharga 26.5k.

Semua bahan masakan, kecuali tempe tentunya, dibeli di supermarket.

Kalau beli lunch di food court Bangkok biasanya sekitar 50–70 THB (37-47k Rupiah). Masih reasonable sebenarnya, tapi masakan rumahan tetap punya tempat spesial di hati saya 🥹

- Sayurnya bisa sebanyak yang saya mau
- Bisa kontrol minyak dan garam sendiri
- Dan yang paling penting… lidah Indo saya tetap bahagia 😂

Kadang saya suka penasaran juga, menu begini kalau dimasak di Indonesia habis berapa ya?

Setiap selesai makan masakan sendiri selalu ada rasa yang bikin bersyukur. Saya happy saja karena masakan yang cocok buat lidah saya ini bisa saya buat sendiri di rumah dengan bahan-bahan yang mudah didapat.

Pokoknya hidup homemade meal!

Not sure whether it is something rare, but I have just encountered this soybean again after yearssss (I live abroad). Such a nostalgic feeling. The seller got a QRIS too!

Tonkotsu Char-Su Ramen & Gyouza Pork Bakar | Menya-sakura, Kota Kasblanka Mall

Total: Rp 167.1k (Ramen ~120k, Gyoza ~47k incl. tax & service).

Second time trying Tonkotsu, and honestly? Still not for me. It just doesn’t hit that savory high like a pure Tori Paitan does.

Tonkotsu Char-Su Ramen (120k nett) 3.5/5

Served piping hot, but real talk: MASSIVE LETDOWN. I came here for a brutal pork broth, but it was just bland. The seasoning was super weak. Compared to Sanpachi 368, the collagen isn't nearly as waxy or greasy, none of that fat sticking to your lips vibe. Honestly, it's a total loss compared to the richness of a good Tori Paitan. Way too clean and mid for Tonkotsu. Price-to-performance is garbage, I’d rather just stick to chicken broth.

Grilled Pork Gyoza (47k nett) 3/5

Hardly any meat, and the broth inside was just mid. Only saving graces were the skin and the vinegar, the rest was meh. Plus, it wasn't even hot, felt kind of lukewarm.

First and last time for me.

So I'm back in Indo for Mayday Holiday.

I had a long ride weekend, cycling to Bogor from Tangsel mepet Bogor lmao

Pas gowes balik ke rumah, I decided to try Wizzmie since my period is coming and I'm craving something spicy!!!

The location of this place is di ujung Pamulang yg belok dikit ke Serpong yg lurus dikit udah masuk Gunung Sindur 😂

They're supposedly G*coan competitor, I had low expectations and skeptical,since they also have rice on their menu..... like it seems Mie isn't their specialty lol

but wow, THEY'RE MUCH MORE DELICIOUS than the G place 😭😭😭😭 I ordered the Mie Goyang lvl 2 (13 ribu), Udang Rambutan (12 ribu) and Ice Lemon Tea (9 ribu) totalling 38 ribu something. Harga gak terlalu jauh beda lah sama sebelah

Mie Goyang is sweet and spicy and they're much more flavorful than the other place where it's only spicy i can barely taste the sweetness. This one, i can feel the sweet and spicy flavor.

Pesen take away juga yg Mie Manja (not spicy) around 11 ribu, for my mom, and she said the mie is better compared to G*coan

since it's my 1st time here, I can't say how consistent they are, because G*coan near my house is kinda inconsistent.... sometimes i order level 5 and it's not spicy at all, sometimes i order level 3 and it's blazing hot 😩

the udang rambutan is kinda small compared to the other place but it's more meaty gak se tepung sebelah.

menurut kalian yg udah pernah makan keduanya gimana?
