I'm a Senior Software Engineer right now with 2 yoe, (Right now working on web development domain, Bachelors in Electronics and Communication Engineering). Recently got an acceptance for RPTU Embedded Systems. Just had a few doubts related to it.

- How's the job prospect after? Have been hearing that ece jobs are dried up now.

- How's the academics / culture there?

Thanks!

hey.

I (23M) arrived here about a month ago, was wondering, are there any events such as board games, game nights or any other activity that accepts newcomers?

Hello, just got here two weeks ago. I am an outdoorsy guy, 28 going on 29, hike, swim, big cyclist. If anyone likes doing things outdoors, PM or reply! I am a total beginner in German, looking to learn. Strong native English speaker 🗣️. Match anyone's interests!?

I am thinking of applying to that university as i have passion about composite materials and their Reinforcement of polymer and composite materials M.Sc. program seemed good.

I have some questions like if the city required a second year block account and how the international students cope up with the students job after studying as the city is small.

Thank you.

Hey everyone, I see that few have started to receive their Admits for Ms CS at RPTU for winter 2026. I also applied for the same but, was not able to satisfy the formal languages and automata requirements. Will this be negative ?

Do you guys know anyone who got in without satisfying these requirements?

My profile stands,

Final year B.Tech CS student with a cgpa of 9.04 (1.5 german grade).

IELTS - 7

German A1

Hey everyone,

I applied to RPTU Kaiserslautern MS CS back in February. After submitting, I realized I had made a few mistakes in my application, so I corrected them and resubmitted about 6 weeks ago.

However, my application status still shows “submitted”, and there hasn’t been any update since then.

Is this normal? Does the resubmission reset the processing timeline, or should I be concerned about the delay? Would appreciate if anyone who has been in a similar situation could share their experience.

Thanks!

Anyone here from previous Master’s CS intakes?

Hey everyone,

Did anyone here get into a Master’s in CS in previous intakes?
Would love to connect and know about your experience regarding enrollment, housing, subjects, workload, part-time jobs, international student community, and overall city life.

Thanks!
