Cane Garden Bay
To the crew on the chartered Cat sitting in Cane Garden Bay right now playing Jimmy louder than you should... Thank you! I'm moored two balls over with a crew that thinks Jimmy is "okay". Thinking of swimming over for a sundowner...

That’s what John Macdonald said …
Picked up the first in the series from the library for vacation and it’s quite good.
But now I’m incommunicado …
Check out this 5 o’clock somewhere clock I just got for my beach house. Pretty cool idea where you input your custom city in the 5 oclock spot then the clock points to the city where it’s 5:00 based on your timezone.
After reading the book by Carl Hiaasen, Jimmy Buffett picked up the film rights, where he produced, starred in, and performed songs for. The film also stars Logan Lerman, Brie Larson, Luke Wilson, Cody Linley, Tim Blake Nelson, Neil Flynn, Robert Wagner, Robert Donner, and Clark Gregg. In 2009, the film entered the Museum Of Modern Art.
Live Version Help
Hi! I remember listening to a Jimmy CD in the early 2000s and I’m trying to find out what live concert it was.
I specifically remember in Son of a Son of a Sailor Jimmy has a monologue in the beginning and says “let’s head down to the dock and set sail, shall we boys?” right before beginning the song. I believe this version has Nadirah and I think he also introduces other members of the live band.
I could be combining multiple live versions together but I’m wondering if anyone has any recollection of this version! Thanks in advance for any help.
Many people believe this is one of the weaker JB albums, but I’ve always had a soft spot for this album. There’s no songs that significantly stand out, but every song is very enjoyable.
Any ideas for a song to walk down the aisle too on my wedding day?
In the lyrics to Manana, Jimmy Buffett sings:
"The new album's old and I'm fresh out of tunes
But I know that I'll get 'em, I know that they'll come..."
In all honesty, did he ever have any fresh tunes after this album?
I just recently discovered YouTube videos of younger people "reacting" to songs from the 60s, 70s, and 80s that they say they have never heard before. Yeah....I'm sure everyone else has known about these things for years. I'm slow sometimes.
First...and this isn't my main point here...but I have to ask - WTF? So...people are actually making money to listen to songs from before their time, and then tell other people what they think about it?? Damn, I wish I would have known about that scam 20 years ago!
But anyway, what I really wanted to say was....I wanted to know if anyone else has seen this particular one by RN2Country https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McjvdTi-uaU&t=369s
This is this guy's "reaction" to the version of "He Went to Paris" from the live "You Had to Be There" album, where Jimmy explains where he got the inspiration for the song. After listening to RN2Country talk about the song, I had to ask....was he even listening???
Saturday, our Internet connection went down. Couldn’t get service people out until Monday. First DVD I grabbed to play Jimmy in concert 2005 Labor Day weekend Wrigley Field..
You know jimmy did thousands of concerts but you can still tell everyone he did He had so much fun ❤️
