Tokyo's retro book town | Jimbocho (recently voted the world's coolest neighbourhood!) | Tokyo vlog | Stamp rally!
Jimbocho recently held a MASSIVE book festival 📚 so we thought it was the perfect day to visit. Jimbocho is one of Tokyo's coolest neighbourhoods, with a retro vibe and packed to the brim with book shops, kissatens, curry restaurants and izakayas. It's one of the best places to spend a chill day in the city that feels like you've walked a bit back in time.
When we went, 3 different festivals were running: the All Japan Used Book Festival, the Sakuramichi Book Festival, and the Tokyo Spring Book Festival, so the streets were lined with even more books than usual, and you could participate in a stamp rally!
