Im seeing warnings on pin sites saying this is being counterfeited but I know how tricky paris pins can be sometimes. The pin itself seems smaller than id expect..does anyone have a real one and could share photos for comparison?
I just purchased this pin from eBay and I’m 99% sure it’s fake. There are bubbles and the color is very yellow, but I don’t have any real WDI pins to compare so I’m here looking to get internet stranger validation lol.
Also, how would you approach the seller? Would you leave public negative feedback? Request a refund? Just write it off as part of the risk of online/ebay purchases? (I’ll probably just write it off and craft this into a magnet or ornament)
TIA
UPDATE nobody asked for…
I messaged the seller and requested a refund. The seller directed me to submit a return request and to select “changed mind” as the reason. That gave me pause, google ai tells me that this selection shifts the cost of the return from seller to buyer. I double checked the sellers policies and their store states the seller will pay for return shipping. I have not gotten a return shipping label of money back yet. But thank you to everyone who weighed in. I appreciate the assist.
Yup, just got back from Disney World & decided to look into my family’s new hobby 🫠 we’ve bought all our pins on property these last few years and this last trip my girls got into trading off the boards. Wish I knew they were all mostly fake 💸 any real in this lot? The bottom row in particular feel maybe a little heavier? 🤞
Im surprising my husband for his bday in June with some figment pins since hes his favorite! I tried to do some research, but I bought these from ebay. Kind of scared they are fake only due to the massive amount of fakes out there. The pins look really good in my opinion, can anyone help me tell?
I know these are faked a lot but I thought the actual pin itself looked good. No dips in the enamel or anything like that. Very smooth. Only thing that’s making me doubt it is if it’s too thin? Any thoughts would be much appreciated!
How would I go about spotting if this is fake or not? I’m thinking about potentially purchasing one of these and they range around $800-1500, so I would really want to make sure.
This one was listed way below the other listings, but there are very few listings to be fair. Should you be worried if you see the prices lowered on such a rare pin such as this one?
i’ve never seen this real or fake but i got it in trivia so im not sure! thanks for looking :)
Bought a bag of assorted pins today, I paid $20 for the lot …. What are they worth? Are they all authentic? I’m indecisive lol
It's missing a nub on the back, and I'm not sure if the dalmation spots on the front are supposed to be black or silver. Luckily I think I can return it, but just verifying that it's fake first.
I haven't seen posted that they have been faked. There are definitely a lot more available than ever before.
