I made an Iron lung junk journal inspired bookmark

I wanted to use some blood related washi tape I had lying around and of course whenever I think of blood I think of Iron Lung.

Everything was either tape, drawn or cut out of a medical a to z book I got from the op shop

Can someone explain the movie to me?

🛑 SPOILERS AHEAD DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED IRON LUNG🛑

I watched Iron Lung, and watched a playthrough of the game, and I don't really get the main goals. Specifically in the movie's ending. I know the main goal in the beginning was to capture evidence of resources for the remaining human population after the whole universe apocalypse thingy, but as the movie continues, the goals become different. Secrets are spilled and the main goal changes. I know there's this weird forced symbiotic relationship between Simon and the thing, but I also don't really understand how that happened.

I would just really like somebody who understands the whole thing to explain every bit of detail as much as possible so I can't completely understand. I know I'm a dumbass, there was so much going on all at once, with the screaming in the speaker and the hallucinations and the constant visual overstimulation. Yes this will be spoilers to whoever reads the comments, but I've already watched the movie, I just need help having it explained. If you don't want any more spoilers, please don't read the replies.

I appreciate any and all help with this, thank you 💛💛

A stupid theory I have and wanna see what the smart people think

Ever since I watched the movie I always questioned how the answer to The Quiet Rapture would help save humanity and then I thought "what if the god could bring the planets back if they learned to understand what the universe is" that would explain why the black box was everything because then they would have all of their resources back. I think the eel wanted the light to be forgotten because at first glance knowing the answer doesn't help so she didn't want to give false hope. The reason why I think this theory is stupid is how would you explain the universe to a god, who the heck would go into the light to do that, and if the planets coming back is even possible even if the god ended up understanding the universe.
