I’m a total IPTV beginner and have been doing a lot of research. At first I mostly ran into scams and fake sites, which made me very careful. Now I’ve come across Strong8K and Dream4K and would love some honest feedback from this community.

My Goal:
• Mainly Live TV (especially German and sports channels like Sky, DAZN etc.)
• VOD with movies & series in German (synchros/dubs)
• Everything on my iPad

My Questions:

1. Strong8K vs Dream4K – Which one is currently better in terms of stability, channel quality, VOD library (German content) and uptime? Or are they very similar?
2. I see a lot of sellers on z2u.com and g2g.com. Where do most people here buy from? Are there any trusted/highly rated sellers you can recommend for 1-month tests?
3. Best IPTV App for iPad?
   I read that TiviMate isn’t available on iOS. What do you recommend for a good EPG, nice interface and smooth playback on iPad?
4. Any other important tips for a complete newbie? (VPN necessary? Best settings, common issues, backups, etc.)

How's it going everyone? So I have a question regarding IPTV services and subscriptions. Im completely new to all this so bare with me here. Is there any iptv service that has like a full tv guide kind of thing? Without the hassle of having to go through all the channels and piece it together that is. What im looking for is a service that has a full on tv guide so I can just do the typical scroll doom til I found something to watch, lol. If anybody can help me with this, it would be very much appreciated.

I was tired of the "old way" of watching sports—having to install the clunky AceStream engine on every single device (phone, tablet, PC) just to watch a race or a match. It’s resource-heavy and a pain to manage.
I finally found a way to decouple the engine: my server (running Proxmox/LXC) now handles the headless AceStream motor and feeds the stream directly into Jellyfin’s Live TV.
Why this is a game-changer:
• Centralized Processing: The server does the heavy lifting (P2P, buffering, and transcoding).
• The "Premium" Feel: I get all the paid sports channels (F1, Football, etc.) for free, but inside a clean, high-end UI.
• True Mobility: I just open the Jellyfin app on my phone anywhere, hit play, and it works. No extra apps or configurations needed on the client side.

TLDR: Is it possible to get a subscription that allows 2 or 3 simultaneous connections via a single Xtream API login username and password combination?

Long version: I have a satellite and terrestrial TV setup where I receive free-to-air channels via an Enigma 2 'server' box, with other Enigma2 boxes in 'client mode' connected to the server box over ethernet. This works well. The server box has many tuners and so different satellite and terrestrial channels can be viewed in different rooms at the same time.

I want to add IPTV channels to the system using the BouquetMakerXtream plugin. This works but there's a problem with multi-room viewing. The way the setup works is that the plugin takes an Xtream API login and generates 'bouquets', lists of channels are are pushed out to all the client TV boxes. When a person selects an IPTV channel on a client box it initiates a connection to the IPTV provider using the login credentials that are provided in the bouquet. The problem arises when someone in another room tries to view a different IPTV channel. This disconnects the previous connection, and so only 1 IPTV channel can be viewed in the house at any one time.

I signed up to an IPTV provider and requested 2 connections, but was provided with 2 separate username and password combinations, one for each connection. This isn't suitable for my setup as it would mean creating two different IPTV channel bouquets. Each set of IPTV channels would appear twice on each client box, which would be messy, and the people in the house would have to coordinate their viewing so that they're using different 'feeds', different IPTV connections at any one time. Not ideal. I realize I could use Firesticks to solve the problem but that means teaching elderly relatives how to change the HDMI source on the TV to switch between satellite and IPTV channels, and how to navigate a new IPTV app. The Enigma 2 setup is better for my purposes.

Do any IPTV providers offer multiple connections via a single Xtream API username and password combination? I.e. my server and client boxes watching different IPTV channels at the same time via the same username and password?

If there is any such provider out there feel free to DM me. I'm interested in US/CA channels specifically - I don't need tens of thousands of channels I just want to access North American content reliably, as these channels are not available in Europe.

So they be changed or do you just pick one?

Random habit question…

I’ve noticed some people treat their IPTV setup like a “set and forget” thing, while others restart apps/devices regularly to keep things smooth.

I’ve had moments where:

1. Streams start lagging after a while

2. App feels slower over time

3. Quick restart suddenly fixes everything

So now I’m wondering if regular restarts actually help performance, or if that’s just masking deeper issues.

Curious what others do.

Do you leave everything running or reset things every now and then to keep it stable?

Using LiveTevez for many years, but its starting to bother me they aometimes.only provides censored versions of tv shows like The Boys, Euphoria, Industry and so on.
