Will iOS 27 be much more stable?

Do you think ios 27 will be much more stable than 26? As it was with ios 7 and subsequent versions. I recently took my 8 plus, and although ios 16 was the last one for it, it feels much more stable. My iPhone 13 at 26 ios works much worse, a lot of lags. Do you think the update will be better or worse?

First time switching from Android to iPhone 17 (used) and the battery drain is giving me anxiety..

First time switching from Android to iPhone 17 (used) and the battery drain is giving me anxiety..

I’ve always used Android phones, but about a month ago I bought a used iPhone 17 from my cousin because she gave me a really good price. The phone was still in great condition and I was super excited to finally try iPhone.

Honestly I love almost everything about it, but the battery is making me anxious. I feel like it drains really fast even with normal stuff like Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, and YouTube.

I already tried lowering brightness, dark mode, background app refresh off, etc. Battery health still says normal.

Now I keep checking the battery percentage all the time and it’s kind of ruining the experience for me 😅

Did anyone else feel this way after switching from Android?

Thought I’d share this with all the paranoid people on this subreddit lol

iPhone 13 mini running 26.4 or something. I think I have like 72% battery health or something lol.

After dealing with terrible battery backup on my iPhone 16 Pro (97% battery health, 271 cycle count), I finally turned off Motion & Transparency effects and kept Low Power Mode enabled since morning.

For the first time in a while, the battery life actually feels normal.
Honestly feels sad that I have to disable features and constantly use Low Power Mode just to get decent battery performance for my day to day stuff from a flagship phone. iOS 26’s Glass OS style looks flashy, but for me it’s been one of the worst updates in terms of both performance and visual designs.

iOS 26.5 battery life is insane after it settles (Update via iTunes!)

Hey guys, wanted to share a quick battery update for iOS 26.5.

I updated on May 13th via iTunes (highly recommend this over OTA to avoid leftover bugs/glitches). At first, I was getting a decent 6h 50m of battery backup.

Fast forward a few days: background indexing is finally done, and now I’m easily clearing over 8 hours! You can see the massive jump in the screenshot.

Guys is IOS 26.5 better compared to IOS 26.1???

After seeing all the bad reviews about the lagging and bugs, I was scared to update and just stayed on iOS 26.1. But recently I’ve been seeing a lot of people saying iOS 26.5 is actually pretty solid. So now I’m wondering; is it genuinely better than iOS 26.1 overall, or is it just “better than the other buggy updates” that came before it?

Wonder is am alone on this? Also i have charges set to 80%

Also some days i charge 2x, before update i went to sleep with 50% or more and i never charge overnight only when it gets down to like 30 40% but now its a pure chaos

Battery life still bad on 26.5

I’ve got a 15 PM with 94 % battery health. On 26.3 it was okay, but since then it really dropped down. I have to charge at least once a day. On iOS 18, I didn’t had to.

Can’t add google account in iPhone 13Pro.

https://reddit.com/link/1thpxgs/video/fw19x6nf142h1/player

I tried to add my gmail so i can get the contacts in iPhones contacts app. But when I wanted to add google it just shows this pop up (that says “Google requires completing authentication in your web browser.”). But when tap on the “Open Browser” option it doesn’t take me anywhere.

All other options work, only the google one shows error.

What could be issue and how to solve that?
