Way more inclined to Solomun but never attended Carl Cox

I adore everything about Solomun never heard anyone play like him, but i already attended him twice in the past two years and will attend him in Egypt in August. Never made it to Carl Cox but from the sets I hear sometimes it gets boring, but I once read that you’ll never feel his magic until you hear his music live, just like Solomun. Need opinions, it gets more complicated knowing that Solomun will have Skrillex as his +1 on the same day, and I’m not sure what kind of music will this pair come up with!!

A few weeks ago I was laid off. Instead of spiraling I decided to just build something...anything and see if people would pay for it.

One evening I sat down with Base44 and AI tools and built onetile.me.

The concept is ridiculously simple....100,000 spots on a digital mural. Each person pays $1.99 to upload one photo permanently. When all 100,000 tiles are claimed the mural is complete. Forever.

Stripe was live the same night.

The first real moment came from Hacker News. A guy challenged me in the comments.. "why would I pay $1.99 for this?" I wrote him an honest answer. Then I built a new $9.99 tier with a permanent external link based on his feedback. He bought it at 4am from the UK.

Day 6. 11 tiles. $34 revenue. The mural is mostly empty and that's the whole problem and the whole point.

onetile.me ! your spot is still available

Update: just added the endgame to the landing page. when all 100,000 tiles are claimed, the goal will be to get the complete mural printed large-scale and displayed at Art Basel in Miami. Your tile. Your photo. On a wall

Disappointing show Dimitri Vegas &Like Mike Ushuaia

Yesterday evening we’ve been to Ushuaia for the 2nd time in my life. My first time (2yrs ago) was with Armin van Buuren en was one of the best party’s I’ve had. That time we planned our trip to visit Armin.
This time we planned our trip and decided at a later time to go to Ushuaia. The only show available during our stay was Tomorrowland presents Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Never saw them before but because of our first experience we booked the tickets.
I still like the Ushuaia vibes. Although we were 15 minutes late according to our tickets and had to pay 10 euros additional entrance fee (18.15 in stead of 18.00). This feel quite 🤬
Than the show: first two DJ’s (Nosi and Agens of Time) were fine, not special. Just have a nice chat and drink with your friends. The set of Oliver Helden was great, really enjoyed that one. And than time for the main act of the evening. Was really looking forward to it. But the set was crap in my opinion. There was no flow, bad interactions with public, and sounded like just some random songs were put together in a hurry. A lot of mainstream songs with a hard beat. There were several moments the crowd went enthusiastic and they were able to kill this vibe within seconds.
The lights were great though.
I’m not trying to bash them, but I’m curious if this is just me being critical or if there are more people with this experience? I’m quite disappointed because I had much higher expectations of worlds top 10 DJ’s

Best Thursday Night Club/Table for Group of 6 in Ibiza? (1 Night Only — July 9–10)

We’re group of 6 in our 20s and early 30s arriving in Ibiza on Thursday, July 9 around 8 PM and leaving Friday at 6 PM, so we basically have one shot to do Ibiza right.

We’re definitely getting a table and want the best overall experience possible without wasting the night bouncing around clubs.

Right now we’re deciding between:
• UNVRS
• Hï Ibiza
• Pacha

Main priorities:
• Best Thursday night atmosphere
• High-energy crowd
• Easy/fun social vibe
• Best music + production
• Worth-it table experience
• “Classic Ibiza” feel for first timers

If you only had ONE night in Ibiza and were doing it properly, where would you go and why?

Also open to any tips on timing, table locations, promoters/hosts, or whether doing multiple spots in one night is actually worth it

Seeking Genuine Thoughts

Currently planning to go to Ibiza this summer for the first time. Big raver, super into free spirited vibes, and love the beach, so it seems like a great destination.

I’m seeing a lot of negative feedback about Ibiza that it’s changed such that it’s all bad/tacky/the clubs aren’t good etc. I can’t tell if this is just the standard online activity (there will always be folks who criticize), or if it really is not worth it to go.

Seeking genuine input since I don’t get to holiday all that often. Thanks!

Is a 50cc scooter recommended on Ibiza

Hi, question for the locals here. I live in Ibiza until end of October now and would like to have a vehicle here in Ibiza. I live in Santa Eulària and would like to go to Ibiza town sometimes or to San Antonio. My problem is that I only have a car license since one year and I am 18 years old so it will generally not be possible to drive a 125cc scooter unless I do the license for it. I could do it but unfortunately I don’t have my NIE number yet and my employer didn’t apply for it yet so it would probably take until August to do the complete A1 license.

I now have the decision between a 50cc scooter and otherwise go with buses or to bring a car from my hometown to Ibiza which I would still need to buy.

I know that a 125cc scooter is the sweet spot for my needs but unfortunately it will not be worth it if I got it like end of July or something.

Parking is also very difficult here on the island I heard and the traffic is always terrible.

So what do you guys recommend? Will I be able to survive off of a 50cc moped or should i bring a car from my hometown for the full experience.

Before I get into context I don’t plan on even considering the idea of trying this, a cig and a vodka redbull is enough for me - I’m simply super curious as to what it is.

I went to a club last night and when I sat on the toilet I looked down and between my feet was a baggy with two of these things in? It almost looks like the supplements I take from the health shop but considering where I was, the fact it was in its own little bag and stereotypically - what goes on in the clubs - I can’t see this being a hair skin and nails supplement 🤣

Has anyone see this before?

Cannabis clubs in Es Cana

Hi guys,
I will be travelling to Es Cana in June, and as a smoker was wondering if there are any local cannabis clubs.
I have looked online and cannot see any in the area but was wondering if anyone on here knew any good spots? :)

How easy is it to pay separately in bars/ restaurants?

7 of us coming over in a couple weeks (2x couples and 3x singles) so when we go to a restaurant or a bar we will be paying 5x ways.
In the UK this is easy enough to do as we all just tell the waiter what we ordered and then they charge each person/couple, will this be the same in Ibiza?

When they bring the bill we just point out what we had and pay then the next person says what they had and pays etc..

Won’t be sharing a bottle, will all be ordering different items so don’t want to just split down the middle between us all either…. Just want to pay for exactly what we ordered each

Ibiza in July , please help with recommendations. Thank you🤍

Hi everyone 😊

I haven’t been to Ibiza in over 15 years and we’re finally going back this summer for 4 nights. I’m 38 and we’re staying at BLESS Ibiza the site.

So far I’m planning to visit:
• Pikes Ibiza
• 528 Ibiza
• Cova Santa
• Sa Capella

I’d love some updated recommendations from people who know the current Ibiza vibe 😊

A few questions:
• Is Pikes Ibiza worth doing for dinner, or better just for drinks/party?
• Around what time does the party really start there?
• Is Ushuaïa Ibiza still worth the hype, or are there better options now for our age group?
• Any favorite beach clubs or one “must experience” Ibiza place with that real magical Ibiza atmosphere?
• We’re also planning a boat day to Formentera 😊

We like a stylish/fun vibe, good music, beautiful atmosphere, not necessarily super young crowds only.

Thank you 🤍

Unvrse

Hey guys, deciding to go to the Unvrse in 4 weeks and from all the videos it looks like there is no space to dance. Is that correct? Also what time they shut the club? I don't Wana spend €100 to just stand around

Substance combo for 3 Ibiza nights

Dear fellow party goers,

my question is simple: what substances / what combo did you have good experiences with when partying 3 nights in Ibiza in a row? I prefer MDMA but since everybody knows you shouldn’t do it multiple times, I am curious what you are using on the other nights. My focus is on enjoying the music more

Taxi and Car service from Airport

Hi, I am seeing a lot of ads claiming there will be a terrible wait for a taxi at the airport. Is this real we’re coming in on Thursday at about 1 PM in a couple weeks so wanted to figure out if we should book a car service which is quite expensive or we can just rely on a taxi which we would prefer

Appreciate everyone’s input!
