Hey Reddit, I’m incredibly excited to finally unveil what I’ve been working on for the past few months. Today marks the launch of the all-new iSamurai AI Face Swap & Video Editor, entirely rebuilt from the ground up to be the most advanced, professional, and visually stunning AI video face-swapping platform available. We’ve moved far beyond just simple single-image swaps. I wanted to build a tool that gives creators, marketers, and editors true granular control over their video content. Here is what’s new in Version 2:

🎬 1. The Video Editor Studio

(See Screenshot 1) This is the crown jewel of the update. We’ve built a full-blown Non-Linear Editor (NLE) right into your browser.

  • Timeline & Keyframing: Precisely map out exactly when and where face swaps occur on a dedicated timeline.
  • Granular Control: You aren't just clicking a button and praying anymore. You can control crop boundaries, apply masks, and stretch/scale with pinpoint accuracy.
  • Live Previews: See exactly what your swap will look like before you commit credits to a full high-res render.

👥 2. Advanced Multi-Face Swap

(See Screenshot 2) Handling videos with large crowds or multiple actors used to be a nightmare. Not anymore.

  • Our detection model instantly maps every face in your target video.
  • You can assign different source faces to different actors in the scene simultaneously.
  • Everything is handled in one optimized pass, drastically cutting down processing time.

🖼️ 3. The New V2 Gallery & Lightbox

(See Screenshot 3) We entirely ripped out the old clunky gallery and replaced it with a beautiful, masonry-style media hub.

  • Unified Lightbox: All your generated assets (images, videos, and slow-motion clips) open in a stunning, high-performance modal.
  • Instant Downloads: Easily download, manage, or feed your past generations right back into the Studio for further editing.

🎁 Try it completely free

I know there are a lot of AI tools out there overpromising and underdelivering. I want the tech to speak for itself. You can sign up for the Free plan right now. The free tier gives you full access to the platform to upload your media, test the face detection, and run unlimited swap previews so you can see exactly how good the results are before you ever need to upgrade to process a full video. I’d love for you guys to tear it apart, test it out, and let me know what you think. I’ll be hanging out in the comments all day answering questions about the architecture, the models we use, and the scaling challenges of building this! Cheers!

Hey everyone,

I do a lot of AI video editing, and I was really frustrated with the current tools on the market. Most of them are just basic open-source wrappers. They are slow, the design is confusing, and they charge way too much money just to swap multiple faces.

We decided to fix this. My team and I completely rebuilt our platform, iSamur.ai, from the ground up. We wanted to make a tool that actually feels like a professional workspace, but is still very easy to use.

Here is what is coming in our new update:

  1. A Real Video Editor: We built a complete, simple video editor with an actual timeline so you have precise control over your projects.
  2. Cheaper Multi-Face Swapping: We updated our system so doing complex, multi-face swaps in a single video is now highly affordable.
  3. Massive Speed & Quality Boost: Rendering is significantly faster, and it natively supports 1080p and 1440p without destroying the original video quality.
  4. Built-in Tutorials: We added step-by-step guides directly into the UI so anyone can get great results.
  5. Free Video Ai Face Swap We are adding a Free Ai Face Swap feature for videos for all free users! It will be limited, but it is a great way to experience the tool and test the quality for yourself.

We are rolling these changes out soon and are looking for honest feedback. What is the number one feature you feel is still missing from AI video editors today?
