Switched for S25

yesterday i switched to iPhone 16 in teal colour from S25 and came back to iPhone, iOS is so satisfying, i switched because of Android (not because i dont like android, but i like iOS more) and not big enough upgrade in photos from iPhone 14 (Sometimes iPhone 14 shoots better photos). This is my 10th iPhone, (i had 6s, 7, SE 2020 - when it was latest iPhone, 12 mini - when it was latest iPhone, 13 mini - when it was latest iPhone, XS max, 12, 13 pro max, 14 and now iPhone 16. And i had 3 samsungs (S8 - terrible, because of display. S20 FE 5G - i was happz with it. S25 after November - unsatisfied). Photos are better.

iOS 26.5 RC bug

When I go back to the home screen from any app, all apps, including the apps in the App Library, are loaded weirdly.

Camera shows crack but phone not damaged

Hello all I need help. I recently got gifted a used iPhone 16 good condition. However, I noticed that when I try taking a picture it shows a huge crack but my phones not damaged at all, there’s no cracks on it whatsoever. What could this be? I already checked to see if there were any replacement parts but nothing is showing for that either so that shouldn’t be the issue. Pictures attached show what my camera shows and how my rear camera looks. I already booked an appointment to have it checked out but just curious if there’s a quick fix or if anyone has had a similar problem.

iPhone 16 display is a bit on the warmer side

My iPhone 16 display seems a bit warmer in colour compared to my previous iPhone.

Not talking about temp or overheating~ the whites just look slightly more warm even with True Tone off. (my phones in diagnostics mode in the picture)

Trying to figure out if this is normal calibration or if my unit is different.

[i use a color filter now to make the screen look white but without it, its just warm asf in color]

New case

Scooped up an Atom studios soft leather case on Amazon for $5. This is the most minimalist case one can get. So far I am enjoying the feel of the phone with it.

Upgraded from 13 mini

16’s ultramarine is their best color in years. As someone who uses their phone for calls, texts, Spotify, and cat pictures, this thing is a tank. Plenty of modern features and reasonable price.

128gb unlocked, Otterbox symmetry case, ZAGG screen and lens protectors. All from Best Buy.

My first iPhone ever was 4s. 4 squared=16.

So I had this phone which is an iPhone 16 Plus for months now, and I am still contemplating to update my phone to the newest iOS but part of me still loves the iOS 18 in everything, since I kinda don’t like the liquid glass (please don’t hate me with this one).

I have a backup phone which is an iPhone 11 running iOS 26, and it was so slow and drains battery so quickly. Mind you all that it was running iOS 18 but still lasts me for around 6-6.5 hrs of screen time. While it only lasts me for around 4 hours maximum but in latest OS (26.4.2).

Have any of you guys experienced battery drain or issues while running on iOS 26? Are there any issues, or good side of this update? Please let me know! 😊

Upgraded from 13 to 16plus

I’ve never loved a phone more (except for my first iPhone ofc). I decided 16plus because 17 base didn’t offer plus and I really fell in love with the Ultramarine color the moment I saw it when this fleet dropped. I think it’ll last me awhile. Most of my phones do.

And yes, don’t judge me. I purchased a Casetify case.

How do I completely reset apps on iPhone so reinstalling them is actually a fresh install?

Whenever I delete and reinstall certain apps on my iPhone 16 like Instagram, Reddit, Snapchat and such, they automatically log me back in or still show previously used accounts/profiles.

Even if I log out before deleting the app, reinstalling it still shows those old accounts and I can tap them to log back in instantly without entering the password again.

I already turned off iCloud Keychain.
I do not have saved passwords for these apps in Apple Passwords.
This happens with multiple accounts, not just one.

I’m looking for a way to completely wipe/reset app login/session/account data locally on the iPhone itself so reinstalling the app behaves like a true first-time install with nothing remembered at all.

Most solutions I found only talk about deleting the app normally, removing passwords, but none of these fixes it for me.
Some suggest enabling stricter authentication methods like 2FA but that’s not really practical for me because I use some accounts across multiple devices and shared logins with other people.

So is there any solution to this? Any way it fully clears the saved app/session data upon uninstallation.

Have a good day/night! Thank You!

Because even though honestly the 17 has the better display and higher refresh rate than the 16 and the better ultrawide I most of the time I used devices with high refresh rate displays had 60hz turned on since in my experiences the batteries were shit in the other phones (previous: Redmi Note 12S and Galaxy S21 FE) so I thought that even though the 17 is slightly larger at 6.3” and has a more sizeable battery the added refresh rate even though it’s promotional could be a strain since I had people with promotion iPhones complaining about their batteries

will an off brand charger REALLY fry my phone?

i just bought a 16 pro and no one else in my household has a device that charges with usbc so we don’t have any usbc plugs in the house for the official apple chargers, but we have a load of off brand ones that have a normal usb end. they have been perfectly fine for all other devices. i keep seeing people say not to use off brand chargers with newer iphones because it’ll fry the port or something. how true really is this?

Are these local cases actually bad long term or just underrated?
Do branded cases really make a big difference in protection?
Anyone here used both and noticed a real difference?
