Just picked up my first grom a few weeks ago. Girl wanted a bike so we got her the Navi, since she's not comfortable shifting yet. For anyone wondering, it's JUST as fun as the grom.. not nearly as quick, but it picks up forsure lol. Anyone else have a grom and a navi in the fleet? Fun combo to have 😏

Changed my oil filter yesterday and can see very little oil is leaking from the oil filter cover, is it possible to open and attempt to close it properly without having to drain all the oil from the motor?

670 miles on the clock now.
Mods: Zoom Loop low mount exhaust, TST airbox mod, Decha Intake Tube, DHM stage one tune, Chimera and Woodcraft clip on handle bars with Vans grips in black. Lastly, Cheeky Seats PINK BRIDE seat cover. Oh and Laminx yellow headlight film.
Wishlist: powder coat wheels something other than black. A nice silver would look great. I don’t want to add anymore pink. The seat cover can be removed, so. Other things I’d like in the future would be Chimera dress up👗mods but the clutch cover is $150 alone.
The engine mods are exactly what I was looking for in terms of power. No baffle in the exhaust was the trick. It’s loud, but with a fifth gear you can cruise and not ruin everyone’s day.

Just got some (tst sliders, chain adjusters levers,) a new Oem rear foot brake and best of all kenda big block tires, finally feels like mine 100%. That being said in the future I may be thinking of getting black rear sets, chrome valve covers the ones that usually come in a kit with the cam cover aswell (but I won’t change the cam cover I’ll keep that the same) besides that maybe some power mods later on but id like to keep the Oem intake box maybe cam upgrade. if you guys have any photos of these things or information about them I’d love to hear them. Glad this is my first motorcycle
Just took my grom to work for the first time today and I got shit on by a few of my coworkers so that was fun, how’s your experience been? Is it a viable form of daily transport?
I have a 2022 honda grom, been super busy the past few months with school and work so I haven't gotten around to riding it since I have another bike which I pretty much use as my daily. Anyways a few months ago I realized the oil plug was leaking so I took it out, changed the oil and filter, put the plug back in no problem. Few days later it was leaking again, and worse this time. Just got around to fixing it again and took the bolt out, which I had to use the wrench twisted right not left. Found out I stripped the inside on the oil pan? I think thats what it's called. When I drained the oil it had metal shaving which I am assuming is from when I stripped the pan last time I put it in. I'm not mechanically inclined at all, so need help on what the next steps are to do. Detailed steps please, I searched around and people said these options:
Helicoil (idk what this is)
New crankcase
Get a larger bolt.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Not sure how I stripped it in the first place since I used my torque wrench on the right setting. But ya live and ya learn

I looked at other options online and see a consistency of 7/8” and 22mm for size. I don’t think it would matter, but does the extra .22mm make any difference? These seem like a good deal, and I’ll snag em, but I’ll be pressed if they’re just slightly too loose and I can’t return em 😂 TIA!
Hi all, I’ve been trying to decide on a seat comfort upgrade for my Grom because even short commutes and longer weekend rides are starting to feel more uncomfortable than I expected. I keep going back and forth between memory foam and gel seat pads. From what I understand, memory foam is meant to shape more closely to your body and feel better on shorter rides, while gel is often advertised as better for spreading pressure on longer rides.
What makes it confusing is how differently these are described across Amazon, eBay, and Alibaba listings. Some claim “high density orthopedic foam,” while others simply say “comfort gel layer,” with very little detail on actual density or material quality.
If you’ve actually used either on a Grom for a few months, how did it hold up for you? Did it flatten out, get firmer, or stay the same with daily use?
There’s a ton of options. 24+ gen 22+ gen. I just something with good aftermarket mod support. But the problem is the prices are ridiculous, there’s people listing 25s for 5k, 15s for nearly 3k. I went to a dealer and apparently the 25s are banned in Texas because of emissions or something? idrk atp vro

I want something small, fun, and usable on really small streets so I came to the conclusion that I need a grom, is there any common scams in the used market or anything to look out for with these bikes? Is it better just to buy a new one?
