Are there any disadvantages to this??
This could be a good punishment for chickens that eat gardens: have them surrounded by what they want but can't have!

My mind can't comprehend the thought that someone saw these, and though these could make great feeders. Can we use this threat to share personal projects you have freestyled? Maybe you could have the solution the other person has been looking for.
Never knew you could be this self sufficient on such a little space. How much land are ya'll homesteading on?
This is genius, and I would love to add it to my homestead garden, but there's the microplastic factor, but even rain has microplastics, so there's no real way of avoiding that, is there??
To the people who still believe water collection is illegal, when have you ever seen or heard anyone in court for collecting rainwater from their roof?
How safe is it, and how well does it work?
What happens if it rains??
I'm joking before y'all come for me, but this just serves as a reminder that there's always a cheaper alternative for things.
l know it requires a lot of wealth to get to this point, but this is a dream of mine. Most homesteads nowadays are just farms, no self-sufficiency at all. But if anyone knows how much fish that pool produces, l would love the insight!
Currently building on my coop and run and I’m looking for hopefully compliments or critiques to help my future hens.
I’m picking up eight hens in a few weeks and want to make sure they have everything they need. I will be putting the door underneath the taller roost. I live in southeast Michigan, will be adding more vents to the top, not done predatory proofing on the outside yet.
This would collect more rain than the roof collection systems. Open to correction if l'm wrong
l hated refilling their water thingies and having to wash them every time covered it in chicken poop. I'm definitely making mine soon.
