Madlib samples Herbie on Quasimodo’s Bartender Say. Part of my two week Herbie sample plays.

Started a deep dive into focusing strictly on hip hop in my collection in the last month and a half or so.

A few more on the way from different orders, looking for reccomendations.

So stoked this finally got the vinyl treatment. Great release too. Sound is on point.

Couldn't find Nas "Godson" or Phonte & Eric Roberson "Tigallero" and didn't feel like driving around for them. Had a busy day but I did find them online this morning for an inflated shipping cost for both.

#1 on my list for RSD this year. Some bangers on here and each cover being unique made it too dope for me not to get. Got lucky with it being the only copy at my store

They both sound great but this LL really bumps.

Got there 6:15 doors opened 8:30. 5 at a time inside and we were 30th in line. Had 2 Bobby Digital presents Juice Crew and 2 Man With Iron Fists so got one of each. 2 dudes behind us wanted the same so glad we beat them or would have been all gone.

Rolling through the Juice Crew now and so far sounds great.

This is from “get on down”, which I’ve never purchased from before. While I really enjoy this record, there are many discrepancies between it and the iTunes version, the most glaring being that the same song is on both sides of the record lol. The last five songs on this record are also different from the last five in iTunes meaning there is only 7 tracks that actually overlap between the two. I find this as a blessing and a curse as I’ve been introduced to some new tracks from the record, but some of my absolute favorites are missing from it. Anyone got this? Thoughts? This is the 30th anniversary clear vinyl.

Picked up the 2 in the middle for RSD. Queue was an absolute pain but totally worth it. Picked up the De La from Rough Trade and the Tribe from a local store. Easily my best haul yet

Heavy Hitters on this one. Oh No! is probably my favorite but need to do more listening to decide.

Shop had a 10% off sale today. Was shocked to see this still in the rack since I got outside waaay later than I planned to today. All LPs are in near mint condition and was glad to find the lyric book and balloons were here. Giving it a spin now. This joint slaps! Great pressing.
