My Collection: Blu Breaks Down His Essential Records - Paul A. Thompson for Pow Mag
Thompson is one of my favorite music writers and he finally sat down with Blu!
"In 2009, I got 500 Madlib beats, which it took me a full year to go through."

I can only find it on YouTube now:

I played the fuck outta this back in the day. I know a lot of these tracks are on other projects, but some songs are hard to find, like:
Kinda Dusty (the OG version of the J&J intro)
RockSt.Park
Jazz (TributeRMX) (w/ J.Period)
Steel Remains (w/ Waxolutionists)
Now that the new album has been out for a few weeks any thoughts on your favorite tracks, standout tracks, etc?
Secondly where does this album rank in Blu and Exile’s overall discography for you personally?
What do you guys think the setlist is gonna look like for the upcoming tour?
Mostly stuff from the new album with some classics like Dancing in The Rain sprinkled in?
