Hi,

I hear the sales part would be hugely affected. How to channel to the clinical aspect? How is it gonna look in general?

I'm starting my HIS program at college this Fall. So tell me the secrets...

Thanks!

Is there a device to attach to a TV to make the sound come in at a lower tone? I know they do have this for singers when they record. I hope to find it for my dad and the TV.

My dad is 95 and a bit set in his ways. He refused to use his hearing aids. He has a list of strategies to act like he forgot, or is too feeble to make it work. Then he loses one. We find them later in the sock drawer or the pencil cup. LOL. My grandmother said he did things like that as a kid.

When we turn the TV volume down he cannot hear the sound at all. We can all hear everything said, and it sounds like a good volume. Dad cannot even hear a noise. Then a male voice speaks and he can hear it. He turns up the volume to obnoxious levels so he can hear the other sounds.

My oldest kid is on the autistic spectrum and the loud noises are annoying, even when he wears head phones to block it out. It vibrates the floor, and that causes issues.

I had my own hearing tested. I miss certain tones in one ear only. And then I wondered if changing the tone of the sounds on the TV would help him hear better?

He cannot hear the TV. He can hear us all at the dinner table when have conversations. Even at a big table. Mom sits close and looks at his ear to speak. The rest of us are male and have deeper voices. He can hear us all.

Does this even make sense? And is there a device to attach to the TV for him?

I was thinking of running a speaker through this device, and putting it behind his char in the living room so that he can hear the sounds in a lower pitch. If there is a way to do this it would solve a lot of problems.

Even better would be a wireless speaker he could move with him to where ever he sits.
