In cage Cams?!?

What cameras are y’all using in your cages to monitor your hedgies?! I’m looking to purchase like a pet cam or some sort of baby camera to setup in Mocha’s cage just to catch her doing cute stuff or just to watch her interact with her environment. What cameras have you guys used and how do you like it? Feel free to attach links

Enjoy some pic of my 8week old hedgie Mocha

Liliya has finally tunnelled!

After almost 2 months, she finally understood how to tunnel & she got a little carried away xD she’s got a whole system going!

I decided to stick her food & a small pinch of treats in her bedding at the bottom so she had to get to it if she wanted to eat! Sure enough, she dug. I woke up this morning and there was loads of bedding she kicked out xD i had to take it out for her. Shes still sleeping at the end of the tunnel starter but im sure she’ll figure out a better place to sleep soon!

Meet Belly🥺🐹

She was rescued 2 weeks ago and I’m in awe. She’s got such a big personality and is a bit of a rebel. She loves peanuts and apple (in moderation) and will run on the wheel and try to escape from waking up until she sleeps😂

I’m a first time hamster owner so any top tips or product recommendations for a very active and social female would be great🥰

Remy Needs You

Hey guys, I’ve made a gofundme for my senior hamster, Remy. He’s in desperate need of a vet. He’s sick and having serious dental issues, he’s in pain and having a hard time eating. The funds would go towards his exam, surgery/procedure, any tests done, and any medications and soft foods for him to eat while he recovers. If you can donate or share the link as much as you can it would mean the absolute world. Thank you so much 🫶

Hamster travel 🧳

PLEASE HELP.

Hi. So me and my bf own a Chinese dwarf hamster she’s around 10 month old. We live in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 and are planning on driving to Spain ( Empuribrava ) in the next week or so. The drive to Spain will be completed in one go and will take around 13-15 hours. We want to bring our hammy with us but we’re unsure of what to do. Do we bring her in her actual cage because she has so many burrows and so much hoarded food that if we were to take her in a carrier in afraid trying to remove her from the cage would destroy her burrows leaving her very stressed but we’re also worried about leaving her in her cage and transporting her in that as there is many hideouts and toys in her cage which would have to be removed for safety but she has so much food hoarded in these and under these that to remove them we would also be removing her food so we’re very unsure on what to do. We also know our hamster HATES carriers. When we picked her up from the pet store ( she was treated very bad ) she was shaking. We have tried over the months we have had her to get her used to carriers and play pens but unfortunately it’s too stressful for her and she finds it more fun and peaceful to have enrichment just in her cage. So we’re wondering do we just take her in her cage and only remove the absolute necessary things out until we later arrive in Spain and set it back up? Or is a carrier really the best? ❤️

Thankyou so so much in advance everyone. We are also first time hamster owners so we want to be absolutely sure! 😊
