I am asking for help with my dental treatment

It is not easy for me to share this, but I truly need support.

At the moment, 22 of my teeth are still severely damaged and urgently need treatment. In total, 27 teeth have been affected. Unfortunately, statutory health insurance only covers the most basic type of filling. I have already received this type of filling before, but it caused severe inflammation in my case. It became so serious that pus formed (as can be seen in the pictures), and I had to be hospitalized last year.

The same low-cost filling also did not last for my boyfriend — after a short time, it simply came off the tooth again. Because of this, my dentist strongly recommends a better and more durable filling, which unfortunately must be paid for privately.

The costs are approximately €100 per tooth. For 22 teeth, this amounts to around €2,200. In addition, I would also like to have my teeth whitened (approximately €450), as they have become heavily discolored due to long-term neglect, and I feel deeply ashamed of it.

How it came to this:

I have gone through very difficult experiences in my past, including sexual abuse and bullying. This had a severe impact on my mental health, and for a long time I did not have the strength to take care of myself — including my dental health.

Today, I suffer from severe tooth pain and feel insecure and ashamed of my smile. I want to change that. I want to live without pain again and no longer feel the need to hide myself.

Every donation, no matter how small, helps me get one step closer to this goal.

Ich bitte um Hilfe für meine Zahnbehandlung

Mir fällt es nicht leicht, das hier zu schreiben, aber ich brauche Unterstützung.

Aktuell sind noch 22 meiner Zähne stark geschädigt und müssen behandelt werden. Insgesamt waren es sogar 27 Zähne, die betroffen sind. Die gesetzliche Krankenkasse übernimmt leider nur die einfachste Füllung – doch genau diese habe ich bereits bekommen und sie hat bei mir zu schweren Entzündungen geführt. Es wurde so schlimm, dass sich Eiter gebildet hat (sieht man auf den Bildern) und ich letztes Jahr ins Krankenhaus musste.

Auch bei meinem Freund hat diese günstige Füllung nicht gehalten – sie ist nach kurzer Zeit einfach wieder vom Zahn abgegangen. Mein Zahnarzt empfiehlt mir deshalb dringend eine bessere, stabilere Füllung, die jedoch privat bezahlt werden muss.

Die Kosten liegen bei etwa 100 € pro Zahn. Für 22 Zähne sind das rund 2.200 €. Zusätzlich wünsche ich mir eine Zahnaufhellung (ca. 450 €), da meine Zähne durch die lange Vernachlässigung stark verfärbt sind und ich mich sehr dafür schäme.

Warum es überhaupt so weit gekommen ist:

Ich habe in meiner Vergangenheit schwere Dinge erlebt, unter anderem sexuellen Missbrauch und Mobbing. Das hat meine Psyche stark beeinflusst, sodass ich lange Zeit nicht die Kraft hatte, mich um mich selbst zu kümmern – auch nicht um meine Zahngesundheit.

Heute leide ich unter starken Zahnschmerzen und fühle mich unsicher und beschämt wegen meines Lächelns. Ich möchte das ändern. Ich möchte wieder ohne Schmerzen leben und mich nicht mehr verstecken müssen.

Jede noch so kleine Spende hilft mir, diesem Ziel näherzukommen.
