Getting tickets from abroad

Hi! I am from Mexico and it’s on my bucket list to attend Glasto at least once and I’d love to go next year:-)

Was wondering if buying from this side of the pond would maybe make it harder?

Also how could I join a group for the day tickets go on sale? Since i’d probably would be going on my own (friends here not really interested in this kinda stuff lol)

What are the glamping options inside the festival ?

Hi Glasto’ers.

I went last year for my first time and absolutely loved it, apart from one thing.

My wife and decided to do camper van camping, which before we went sounded like the most comfortable sensible option. However, it wasn’t. The van was a 30 min walk (40/50 at night) to our nearest gate. This meant going back for an afternoon nap or change of clothes wasn’t really viable especially after a couple of days. We did 35/40k steps A DAY and I felt this hindered us seeing much of the naughtiness of the night time. We were knackered by 12 because of the walking.

SO my question is, we would like some comfort, don’t mind paying (within reason) and more importantly don’t want a massive walk back to site so what options of glamping are inside the festival ?

I hope this makes sense and have a great week everyone x

Looking for Glastonbury 2021 downloadable link

Does anyone have a downloadable link of Glastonbury 2021? In particular, Kano's set but I'd also love the entire thing.

It was SUCH an at home deep lockdown experience and I'd love to gift a download of it to my wife for her birthday. Praying to the Reddit gods 🙏

Does anyone know of a website that has archived old sets from previous festival editions?

There's stuff on YouTube but the quality is often terrible...surely someone has archived these amazing videos somewhere? I'm looking for stuff from 2007-2012.

Is it REALLY that hard to get tickets? Also is coach worth it

It’s our first year attempting to buy tickets (as well as campervan east tickets). We’re very determined to go, I’ve read everything possible about how best to get a ticket. I see some people have gone 10 years in a row.. and some have tried for 10 years and failed. Is it a case of if you try hard enough, have multiple devices and sit there at 9am waiting you’ll probably get them.. and most people who don’t get them will probably look at evening and see they’re sold out? Or is it really that brutally hard to get the tickets? I’ve seen so many different posts saying it’s pretty easy and others saying don’t even bother.. we’re getting so nervous about the process and it’s still 6 months away! There is 6 of us also. Haha. Also, is it worth trying for coach for the sake of it even though we don’t need the coach? Thank you for any info!!!

Could Madonna headline Glastonbury 2027???

I can kinda see Madonna headlining Pyramid Stage in 2027...

- New album coming out this July: "CONFESSIONS II" a 16 track part two to her 2005 album "Confessions on a Dance Floor".

  • Possible tour maybe end of 2026 running into 2027. Tour could end like April 2027 leaving a perfect break just before Glastonbury.

  • Madonna has never played Glastonbury. A set is long overdue. I don't think she would be Legend Slot, I think more likely a Saturday headline slot!

  • She would be the perfect legacy slot. An iconic headline slot!

  • She was heavily speculated for Glasto 2024 but obviously this didn't happen.

  • Emily Eavis went to one of her London shows in 2023. People said this was because Madonna would headline in 2024 but headliners don't obviously get booked less than a year away for the festival so it would be more likely if she was booked off the back of this, for a few years time.

Adele 2027?

I’m sure Glastonbury has already locked in their lineup or at least know who they want to chase after. Would love to see Adele at the Pyramid stage.

Glastopedia iOS App · TestFlight Users Wanted

Hello Glastonbury fans! How's everyone's fallow year shaping up?

I've been quietly tinkering away at a iOS app for Glastopedia, and I was hoping to get some people from this community to help test. If you're running iOS 26 and are willing to send me honest feedback (or just want to play around with a potentially buggy app), go ahead and download via this TestFlight link.

Edit: it seems that the View in TestFlight links don't work in Reddit's in-app browser, so just open up the link above in your default browser instead and you'll be good to go.

Thanks in advance!

Hiring a minibus to and from the festival from London

Hi everyone, i’m looking for some information on the cost/ease of booking a minibus to and from the festival. My girlfriend has driven the past 3 years but she found driving back last year really tough, so now we’re looking into this option.

  1. Does anybody have a rough idea of cost for a 12 seater minivan there and back? Would be hoping to arrive for 5am wednesday and leave 6am monday.

  2. I know you can buy a pass to get dropped off at bronze gate, but the van has to be a certain size. Can we have 6 people in a large van and be okay or does the van have to be fully occupied?

  3. if you get dropped off at bronze gate do you join the coach queue at gate A or parking queue. Same question for the shuttle from bath a west.

Appreciate its early and optimistic to be looking but there’s no time like the present. Thanks!

How do people get barrier or pretty close at the bigger stages?

Hi folks, just to preface, I’m neurodivergent and love details so please don’t be mean. (I’m sure no one will be but Reddit can be weird)

When I rewatch clips of previous years on YouTube, sometimes I struggle to actually enjoy the performance because my mind is so intrigued by the logistics of getting that close to the stage😂

I have all sorts of questions:

  1. Do you stay out all night to secure the spot?

  2. Do you arrive hours before the act you want to see?

  3. If you need the toilet or need to go grab something, do people let you back in your spot?

  4. Aside from the obvious difference in view, is the experience significantly better the closer to barrier you are?

I’ve registered for the sale later this year. It’s been a dream of mines to attend Glastonbury and my plan, all going well, is to buy a cheap towing caravan and spend spring of next year doing it up to bring with me 🚐

Melvin Benn should not be anywhere near this festival given his comments on booking kanye

it is disgusting to be saying this given kanye released swastika merch only last year and had a song called heil h*tl*r last year as well.

Is it better to consider volunteering for 2027 or hold out for tickets in November.

will this be the biggest glasto demand wise as it's the first fallow since the pandemic
