hey hey, yr friendly hands-off r/glassjaw mod here. inherited this mod position from the former mod (whom i believe started this sub! is that correct u/notdarylpalumbo?)
anyway, you guys are a pretty chill and tame group and its been a pleasure to not have to police this sub for anything, like, ever.
fun fact, i work in live production. wear a lot of different hats in everything from touring, festivals, and corporate production industry and as a result, often get opportunities to get amazing live footage. today i spent my limited downtime getting some amazing videos and shots of the boy’s Sick New World set, all from the comfort of the photo/crew pit at the edge of the stage, ten feet away from GJ and company (with amazing sound and video quality thanks to iPhone 17 Pro Max).
all that to say, i’m gonna start being a bit more active here in the community, suggestions on stuff you guys wanna see to help improve, grow, and flesh out this sub a bit more are welcomed. i’ll make a thread for everyone to drop ideas and stuff in later on. my first order of business will be to get some tags for the group. we’ll have an ASSJAW tag bc it’s hilarious and i’m going to make it a rule that you MUST take at least one photo that has ASSJAW in it anytime you post pics from a show.
gonna share the videos with this sub and r/posthardcore one at a time, prob starting tomorrow or monday once i’ve had some rest. i worked 15h today on 3h sleep and i am currently dead.
