8” bong: milkyway glass “Tiny Apiary.” Named the individual bees on it lol; Gary, Phillip, Susanna, after the bees who live by my porch
14” bong: milkyway glass “Midnight.” Named Li Ning
Steamroller: Chinese glass piece that I named Herbert. Usually give my pieces female names but since this looks like a penis I will name it after a man
Bowl: named the Jan bowl. Sold to me by my best friend’s mom for $10 like 5 years ago. It is older than me.
Chillum: named Holly. Absolutely adore this thing, perfect for going out to bars/quick car seshes
Thoughts on my collection?
I started collecting heady pieces back in the early 2000’s just because I loved glass art. I was involved with an extract company about 15+ years back, and we had so much excess wax I was trading glass or whatever for it. I amassed a large collection over that time, and realized that trading extract directly to the artists got me a much better selection from the rare pieces.
Here are some of the noteworthy epic pieces I gathered during this time:
- “The Artifact” (Ryan Fitt x Kaj Beck collab, fully functional dab rig)
- “The Do-Do Bird” (Burtoni x Cameron Burns functional dab rig
- Hefe Glass 2015, Dual funtional rigs. (There were 2 that came from this set)
- Chaka Glass x Glass Munky Collab (functional rig, glass etched signed by both artists)
- Saki Bomb Hacky sack (Functional rig with a signed case & bag)
- “The Stoney Poney” (Corrine Winters, 1 out of 5, this is the blue one)
And many more…
Here I am now, with a wife and 2 kids, life has happened. Unfortunately, after many years of clutching my collection, I must part ways.
Here is my question to this community: Now I am out of touch with buyers for this type of glass. I don’t know many collectors anymore. So I am looking to use an online site like GlassPass or even EBay. I am skeptical of everything and trust nothing.
Which platform or path would you suggest to list this collection?
How do you suggest I go about this to get the most money back here?
Any advice on this is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
🌈 Rainbow Hydra ♻️ by Karma & Siren 🚨
I got to the show pretty much as soon as the doors opened and he was putting his tubes on the table when I asked if he was Holloh glass! I water tested the smallest of the tubes and enjoyed the draw and the size standing around 10-11” is my guess. Got to see a bunch of other cool glass as well! Speaking to the artist was pretty dope and definitely helped with the impulse buy. Happy 4/20!
Hope everyone has/had a good one! Decided to bust out a few headies 🤘
Why is this guy saying he invented UV glass? And why are people believing him? Uranium glass been around for years before heady pipes were a thing.
This 14mm siren hydra in all slyme green absolutely dumps bubbles. He doesn’t make 14mm anymore, it’s a classic. We have a ton of heat that I’ll be sure to post over time, we always get new stuff in too.
Glad to have a community that appreciates cool glass :)
