What year is this?
Feels so good and nostalgic to be using both of these gems together. Makes me almost want a flip phone as a daily phone to complete the package lol.

New Gameboy Micro 3D printed extended back housing and 1500mah battery mod giving 11 to 37 hours of battery life depends on which cart type is being played and the brightness level. Special thanks to iikepie for creating the back housing.
Picked this up from eBay for a decent price, love the colour of it although I'm a little bummed to see the screen is slightly yellow. Might replace that in the future, but it isn't that bad... Still stoked overall to have it and to see it nearly matches the colour of my Samsung S26 in light blue.
just fixed this baby up and printed an insert found here on reddit. thanks everyone who helped.
Hey everyone! I just rolled out a big update for my free Game Boy editing/modding web tool, and I can't wait to share the new features with you guys.
Here are the main upgrades:
✅ Component Rating System
Rate any modding components you've used without mandatory purchases. Share your honest experience to help the community pick better parts and avoid bad components.
✅ Virtual Build Editor
Mix and match parts to design your perfect Game Boy build. It’s super handy for calculating total costs and comparing the differences between various components before you actually build.
✅ Public Sharing Page
Showcase your custom Game Boy builds! Share your setup publicly and get feedback & praise from fellow modders.
I’ve also added tons of new components to the product library recently.
Additionally, if you are looking for rare or hard-to-find Game Boy parts that are out of stock, feel free to DM me. I can contact suppliers to hunt for their hidden stock for the community.
Hope this tool makes Game Boy modding easier for all of us. Any suggestions or feedback are highly appreciated!

No downloads, completely free for the retro Game Boy community. Have fun building!
These aftermarket faceplates still do bow up in the middle just a bit. But, I did expect that. Plus, now the screen looks really clear compared to my scratched up original silver. I have a Super Mario Bros. one still on the way.
Cost about $350. When I heard I could get a GBA for 80g I had to get one.

Just curious if anybody's tried it I just ordered one but won't be able to test it until my micro gets here in a week or so it's my first one I'm so excited
Hey guys, I finally got my shiny bulbasaur! I'm so excited! 8588 soft resets to get my favorite starter! 😃
Carrying the GBM around would be much more streamline with a charger adapter. I can't find anything like that. I'm not electrically-minded enough to mod a usb-c connector. Would I be able to strip the cable and make a tiny cord?
