Foiled Out cEDH Kenrith
This was my deck prior to being forced to sell out due to financial reasons, I miss it every day.

Most of these are already in decks. I always try to pick up stuff i intend on playing. I traded most of my cards and maybe paid 25-30% of the value in cash. Events are a great way to consolidate a piles of $5-20 cards into something worth keeping.
Slowly but surely we'll get there. 15 cards left and the whole cube is pimped to the max.
7th Crypt Rats currently on the way 🤩
Finally for my Bazaars back and I think I need to update the deck a bit now, but it’s pretty!
Such a huge fan of old frame foils! 🔥🔥🔥
The deck is a bit of a project
- all Japanese
- early artworks only (1st printings preferred)
I like having a couple foils in the deck for flair, opposed to foiling out the full list.
The deck itself is very bad, but it makes for fun games. The idea being you draw everyone cards in hopes that I hit my combo pieces first and win or someone else does and we can move on
The deck being in Japanese is funny because you give people cards that they can’t read. Deck is mostly staples regardless
During COVID I didn’t know how much Commander and 60-card I would realistically play again so I moved a lot of my old/extra decks and bought some of the cards I wanted since childhood, along with foiling out my “main” Commander deck that I plan on never getting rid of.
I started in 7th Edition and like so many players was completely enamored with Shivan Dragon. I was thankful that the Dominaria Remastered Shivan Dragon art used different art by Donato Giancola since it makes the 7th one more special.
These days I like Borderless cards more than Retro foils, but back then I wanted 7th Birds, City of Brass, and Underground River for decks. Definitely regret not getting the other 4 painlands before the Premodern boom. lol
Such a complicated card that Stephen Menendian wrote an entire book about it. Free card draw is never really free when it changes how you build your deck, sequence your lands, and play every turn.
Have you read it?
Latest pickups for my foil legends collection
These are possibly my favorite foil basics. Wish I could afford a whole deck with them!
EDIT: Looks like the pictures I uploaded got downsized and compressed, so uploaded them again to imgur: https://imgur.com/a/QBX7jOp
I finished foiling out my second foil 2015 Modern deck! In case you missed it, I recently foiled out my Mono White Hatebear deck, which I posted here.
This time I finished my Merfolk deck. I have been a Modern Merfolk player for many years, continously updating my foil deck with the latest cards. After becoming disillusioned with the current Modern metagame and the way the format seems to be going, I ended up downgrading the deck to its 2015 counterpart. This meant that I had to replace almost every card, or downgrade them to their 2015-era version. The only cards this version of the deck shares with my current Modern version are the Masters of the Pearl Trident, the Aether Vias, the Chalices and Dismembers. I had to purchase all other cards... again! Haha.
If you haven't checked out 2015 Modern yet, you're missing out! You should check out the subreddit: r/2015modern
Both are in pretty great shape too, I love 7th edition foils.
