Its not much! But its honest work. Lol.

So I recently bought a Take5 emperor kamfa around 2 inches. By the fourth day (first pic) he seemed to be beaming in colors already, and was swimming confidently so I tried to do mirror training. Shortly after putting the mirror in the tank, he started to hide behind the sponge filter and now his color is faded and he’s been hiding when I do water changes. He also has faint stress marks. What can I do to bring back his colors and increase his confidence? He still comes out to eat but hides after.

He is in a 90 gallon tank by himself. Hasn’t had any issues before today. I do not have a spare tank to hospital him so if need be I would have to treat him in the 90. Any recommendations to help the healing process?

The smaller is supposed to be a golden base and the female was an “indo cenchu” but I have never heard of it before. I got them as a gift and just put them together. They already knocked the divider down, lip lock, and laid eggs. I’ll check on them this afternoon but I really don’t know what the larger female one is.
