Is nostalgia baiting really that bad?

I've seen a lot of people saying Feng was nostalgia baiting in a lot of his recent songs, and even though opinions may differ on whether that's true or false, I personally dont think it's that much of a deal. As long as his music isn't too repetitive and is actually enjoyable, which I think it is, I don't think it should matter that much if he's nostalgia baiting or not.

Music in the 2010's didn't even really sound like that anyways, so I don't even know what do people mean when they say he's nostalgia baiting. Sure, he have a "2010 indie" aesthetic, but I personally don't see how that's even present in his songs.

Altogether, I don't think Feng's "nostalgia baiting" make his music any less better or should make us enjoy it any less.
