So basically a few years back the place I worked at hired a new person, we immediately hit it off. It was like a close family friend, someone I had known for years, my entire life. Over the course of the year we worked together they helped me navigate a toxic work environment and I helped them decompress and work through personal and romantic issues.
However once I stopped working at that place after about a month I stopped getting responses or messages from my friend. Only to find out her boyfriend had basically had its him or me. It's been close to a year since I left that job and honestly I'd be lying if I didn't say it doesn't hurt just being ghosted like that completely.
However hearing poki and the boys talk about going through similar experiences and how it effected them. It honestly made me feel a lot better. Honestly as dumb as this sounds it made me realise its a somewhat common thing which dealt quite relieving.
