When can we expect the F.E.A.R. Lore finale from LeChumQc
We can't wait!
We can't wait!
Please explain this question: Why didn't LeChumQc end up in F.E.A.R. Lore?
So the original 2005 game indicates several times that the Point Man possesses superhuman physical resilience.
In chronological order, its when he first personally encounters Alma at the harbor area and she blows him out the window. And Jin says about the effect of the explosion on him: "He doesn't appear to be injured. Although I don't know how he survived.". Not just surviving but also uninjured. Also a Delta operator tells the Point Man: "You're lucky to be alive."
Next, the Point Man is riding in a helicopter with Jin and Doug Holiday on route to the Origin Facility when the helicopter is struck and crashes. Holiday says that the Point Man "looks okay" which is in contrast to the others.
For Holiday himself, "it'll be a while before I can ice skate again", and he says that Jin is "banged up pretty bad" while the helicopter pilot has been killed.
In both times the Point Man is well enough to continue fighting and Rodney Betters orders him to do so.
Also, at the end the Point Man is caught in the explosion of the reactor of the Origin Facility, and is found in the rubble by Jin and Holiday, and Holiday remarks to the Point Man: "I don't know how you lived through that."
All these times viewed together indicate that when the Point Man made it, it was due to himself possessing superhuman physical resilience.
And this might also explain the Replicas being able to take lots of bullet damage, they too might possess superhuman physical resilience.
Hi, I’m trying to find an old video I saw many years ago (probably around 2006–2010).
It was a fan-made music video / montage using cutscenes from F.E.A.R. or possibly F.E.A.R. Extraction Point. I clearly remember it wasn’t a frag movie — more like a cinematic edit with story moments, Alma scenes, and creepy atmosphere.
The song used was “Use Your Fist and Not Your Mouth” by Marilyn Manson.
I know this wasn’t an official video — most likely something uploaded to early YouTube (or even older platforms).
I’ve already tried searching on YouTube and Google with different combinations, but no luck so far. I assume it might have been deleted or reuploaded under a different name.
Does anyone remember this video or have any idea where I could find it?
Any help would be appreciated!
Since it’s quite unlikely that we’ll be seeing a FEAR 4 anytime soon (if ever), I started brainstorming what a hypothetical Fear sequel could look like.
I do apologize in advance if this comes off a little messy or hastily put together, I haven’t really done a post like this before.
The Premise: The Fettel Canon
This sequel would take place directly after the F.E.A.R. 3 Fettel’s ending (2025).
Fettel takes over the Pointman’s body, steals Alma’s newborn child and “consumes” Alma.
But as Fettel is consuming her, a fragment of her consciousness manages to “escape” and transfer itself into a dormant clone body being held deep within an Armacham facility, a clone secretly created before her physical body died in 1987.
Then begins a violent quest to get her stolen child back and put an end to Fettel’s madness.
The Protagonist: Alma Wade Reborn
Alma is the protagonist, but in a corporeal, augmented clone body.
My approach to Alma’s “dialogue” would be similar to how Doom Eternal handled the Doom Slayer. Alma doesn’t speak unless she absolutely has to.
Her vocalizations would mainly consist of rage willed screams and shrieks as she rips through Fettel’s newly formed supernatural clone army, with the occasional moan/grunt when she’s taking damage.
The clone body would have the same enhanced super-human reflexes as Pointman and the Armacham Replica soldiers and with the fragment of Alma’s consciousness becoming one with the body, she would also have access to similar psychic abilities that Fettel did in F.E.A.R. 3.
The gameplay would be a balanced marriage of Pointman’s and Fettel’s abilities from F.E.A.R. 3 with fluid, modern movement mechanics mixed in, think of a less jetpacky Titanfall.
The Arsenal: New and Familiar Faces
I tried to pick firearms that were both visually interesting and that filled a specific role in the weapon sandbox.
I also threw in a few classics from F.E.A.R. for the OG’s:
• Walther P99
• Colt M1911a1
• Chiappa Rhino (or Ruger Blackhawk)
• H&K XM8 (Carbine variant)
• SIG M7 rifle (or Colt CM901)
• Rakow G2a2
• Kriss Vector (With extended barrel and handguard)
• Sumak RPL SMG
• M1-L1 Triple-Pulse Rifle (Deep Rising reference)
• Sawn-off Winchester Model 1887 (or Black Aces Tactical Lever 12g)
• EL-10 CAS
• Atchisson AA-12 (With drum mag)
• MK. 14 EBR
• Barrett XM500
• 10mm HV Penetrator
• RG-6 grenade launcher
As for Alma’s appearance, I imagined her to be decked out in a tactical combat uniform similar to what the Armacham soldiers wore in FEAR 3, but one which is more form fitting and less bulky.
That’s what I’ve got so far, tho I might expand this post later once I’ve got more of the plot and mechanics figured out.
Would love to hear what you all think.
Whenever I press new game or load the 1st lvl it crashes. How to fix it ?
The film is called: Alma Interview
Let's say the right developers where given a chance to recreate the first FEAR game beat for beat as a reboot to the series and throw out 2 & 3.
Would we, the fans, want to see that as a potential new lease of life for the series. I think it's utterly criminal that Warner Bros Interactive have done nothing with the series. Yet at the same time, under their guidance put out Project Origin and F3AR is probably for the best they didn't dig the whole even deeper.
If WBI got the right developers and maintained a hands-off mentality (which would never happen but anyway) I'd like to see a reboot of the series.
The only changes I'd make is instead of it taking place in the fictional city of Fairport, have it take place in Boston which I believe was actually the inspiration for Fairport anyway.
Edit: I'm liking what some people have said. That FEAR should've been an Anthology series, that Alma Wade shouldve been Case:1 in a sense. I really like that idea, that maybe FEAR 2 would've been a whole other incident involving other entities.
I can't wait for the F.E.A.R. lore finale to come out.
Just before I buy them I wanted too check
