Showed up yesterday, haven't had a chance to run it yet but took some pics for size comparison. I threw it up against my WPL C24 and my FCX18 LC80. Good bit bigger than the LC80 and even a bit longer than the C24. Looks great! Hard to get the pearlescent color of the paint to show in pics, looks even better in person. Can't wait to get it outside later today.
Did someone order the drive shaft from Aliexpress or some other website? The original parts are too expensive in my RC shops in Poland. I want the plastic ones so they fail not other parts in the drive.

Got an e-mail a couple days ago about this one. Ordered one up last night, looking forward to it arriving.
Picked this up for something fun to do with my son, but I've been having too much fun geeking out on upgrades and accessories. So far all of the changes I've made are for aesthetic reasons to get it looking how I want, but there should be some associated performance gains too. I've been having fun with my university's 3D printer making various roof accessories. I did install new shock towers to lower the stance a bit and I really like how that turned out. From here on out I'm just going to upgrade things as they break lol.
Got a new set of anodized Injora wheels, but I’m not sure how I feel about them after installing. What do you guys think?
Second picture is my current setup.
Just wanted to make a short video of what not to do even though it looks like a lot of fun. I had to learn the hard way 😳🫣 and wound up sending my son a new LC80. I have spent so many hours to restore the LC80 but I honestly could’ve purchased a new one for the same price and the time spent refurbishing it, because it cost him $70 to ship it back to Washington state from Puerto Rico🤪🫣
A few weeks ago my son came inside from driving his fcx18 LC80 and the the truck was acting weird. Thought it might be low rc battery or receiver battery so put charged batteries in both.
After fresh batteries, his truck now only works in reverse and only goes for maybe 10 seconds and then the LC80 lights start flashing and then the truck stops working as if it turns itself off.
I have no idea how to trouble shoot the issue here. Googling seems to imply his motor overheated and his ESC got fried. Anyone ever have this issue? My son is 5 so when I asked him what he was doing he gave me a vague answer so im not sure what happened!
Any idea what to do? How do I find a replacement ESC?
Thx!
Been a solid minute since i took the lc80 out for a spin. Felt mostly out of its depth on this part of the seawalls but we found some routes up and down them 💪
