A pickup truck came within about 2 feet of broad-siding me on Airport Road at 112 St SW. They were running their red light at about 50 miles per hour. I was the only one on 112 going East and there were 2 or 3 cars going west and we all had to slam our brakes.

15 minutes earlier in Edmonds, I passed through a single-car crash scene. A truck collided into a power pole, took out a sign post, and the ambulance was just arriving to pry the driver out as the entire block was waking up.

Put the phones down, stay sober, and try to actually give a shit about your own life and the lives around you.

No kids and we’re willing to travel a bit for something fun. 

I had my finger on the pulse when I lived in Portland and knew everything that was happening on the weekends. But I’ve been kind of depressed since moving here and have barely gone out except for work. I literally have no idea what’s going on in the mean streets of Everett these days. 

Around 7pm on 4/24 I saw two dogs loose on Beverly, right outside Beverly Pizza. I immediately turned around and by the time I did, one of the dogs had been hit. I thought I identified the perpetrator, who drove away! I chased the car a few blocks, honking at them to stop, and took a picture of the license plate. I went back to the scene, where several people were gathered, including the dog owner I think. I shared the photos with them and left, but then started to second guess myself because I did not actually see the impact. I texted the presumed dog owner to this effect, although I am still fairly certain I saw the hit and runner.

Anyway! If that was your dog, I am so sorry this happened.

If you were the driver I chased and you didn’t hit the dog, I’m sorry for the scare.

If you did hit the dog and drove away, shame on you!

Does anyone know of any weekend gig work this weekend? I have been looking on Craigslist, Nextdoor, Instawork all the usual places and no luck finding anything. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.

If you are at Jackson Elementary or Forest Park on a Tuesday or Thursday, you'll hear heavy gun fire from the police gun range. This is while children are playing in the park or classroom. I think the city needs to take action and move the gun range away from an area with children present. It's really disturbing to be walking across from a school or a park and hear rapid gun fire with zero idea of where its coming from.

Hi everyone, just wondering what your experience has been with using Altier for your move, and buying a home on the Entry Level relocation offer? We will be moving from Kansas to Washington State soon. Neither me nor my partner have done a big move like this before or bought a home. After reading what is offered for buying a home, it might be worth looking into, but I was hoping to get some feedback about this option. Feedback from those with the same entry level package, moving to or near Everett, WA preferred. Or if you feel like dropping some first time home buyer wisdom too :)

Yes, it would've made sense to stop and ask, but I only saw it in the distance and didn't have time for a detour. My theory is Pokemon card scalping? Not sure though.
