I just finished Scrimmage by K. Moret, and I cannot get over the impact play. Pleasepleaseplease help a girl out 😩 i really liked Dead of Summer, Green Light, and the Churchill Bradley Academy series. I love a good slow burn, enemies to lovers type beat. I'm also quite irritated with Stockholm Syndrome or any other kind of syndrome being so prevalent to reach a HEA or whatever. I don't like it. I also don't care about HEA anyways.

If you have any recs where I don't encounter these two things, then it would be really helpful. I don't have any particular limits. The more dangerous the man, the better.
