Do you think something like this is possible?

A 3d rock engraver with a belt that can mass manufacture 3d scultures ?

Tested the new platform and works nicely.

Next week we'll see how it prints. Never done that before so I am pretty excited about it.

Always fun designing different ideas people bring in for engraving. From wedding keepsakes to coach gifts and team memories, these baseballs turned out really clean on the F2 Ultra UV.

Looking for some good recommendations on engraving machine

I have been using this one for quite sometime but it doesn’t give rounded finish and always spilling over the edges.
Suggest me a good and affordable engraving machine to work on ceramics and glasses.
Note - not many great tools are available in India so please suggest whichever is available in India.

Hand relief engraving on a titanium folder scale

This is a titanium handle scale from a Noblie Custom Knives project, engraved by hand in relief. The theme is Santa Muerte with roses and floral elements, and the engraving depth goes up to about 1mm in some areas.

The background was kept dark and matte, while the raised areas were finished brighter to give the portrait and flowers more contrast without adding color or enamel.

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for an adept Dorico user to help me finish cleaning up elements of a score that was imported from Sibelius via MusicXML.

I’ve already made a start on it, but I’ve hit a wall with my schedule and need someone to take it across the finish line.

It’s a simple gig. Adding articulations and slurs guideposts and a percussion part entry. The work is neoclassical so lots of copy pasting ease.

I have issues with my vision now and this fine, detailed work is beyond my ability to do quickly. A year ago I estimate could have done this myself in about an hour or so.

Timeline & Budget: I estimate this is roughly 1–2 hours of work for someone fast with Dorico’s workflow. I am looking to pay $50–$60 USD for the project. This is somewhat negotiable.

If you’re interested, please shoot me a DM with a brief mention of your experience with Dorico. I can provide the file and the reference PDF immediately.

Thanks!

what too is used here?

can someone identify the tool used here? is it a rotary engraver? what kind of burr is used? im puzzled.

i love how smooth their surfaces turn out! i tried with a 2mm ball burr on a dremel but my mine look extremely bumpy and not as smooth. (i’m also new to engraving lol)

I made platforms with quick releases for different sizes of copper plates from Ikea cutting boards. It costs next to nothing. I'm not sure if this is a great idea or just dumb.

I wasn’t able to add additional pics to my original post, so I’ll add the one scope I have here.

Doing some learning on a Chinese Sebenza clone

I am learning Dremel engraving this month. This is one of my old Sebenza clones that's been sitting in a drawer. Still needs cleaned up a bit, some tool marks that don't lend themselves to the piece are still there but overall I'm pretty pleased with the I just wanna see what it looks like pass on the flame annodizing.

I picked up this older Blue Ribbon scope a few years back and just randomly ran across another that seems obvious it’s the same engraver. Does anyone recognize this work or who may have done it?
The only connection to the work is one scope is a Blue Ribbon and the other is Red Arrow, but look fundamentally the same Nikko Japan made scopes, guessing mid 80s?
I’ve never obviously engraved a scope before, but from how these seem to be done, it almost looks like the would have been disassemble d possibly to finish around the end pieces. Also, you would think the vibration and pressure on the aluminum barrel from the engraving would wreck the optics possibly.
Odds of me finding the two by the same artist seems rare at best, but my curiosity has me wondering what else this person has done…
