Hey everyone. I've been dealing with atopic dermatitis for a while now(mainly around my lips, mouth area, sometimes on neck(front)) and have been through a really rough patch — heavy antibiotics, antihistamines, multiple doctor visits over the past few months. The main flare finally started settling down about 3 weeks ago, which was a relief.

But now I'm getting hives that come and go randomly. Mostly on my hands and legs, had one episode on my back (shoulder blade area) too. They're not fixed in one spot — they pop up, sometimes stick around for a bit, then disappear, sometimes in different areas each time.

A bit of background:

- History of atopic dermatitis(~4 years), had a really bad flare earlier this year

- Also had dyshidrotic eczema (pompholyx) on my hands a few weeks ago during the flare

- Always been active - goes to the gym, eats mostly whole foods, type of person

- Getting an allergy test for 21 foods in a few days, so I'm off antihistamines right now

- No new products, detergents, or obvious environmental changes

I'm genuinely unsure what's going on. Is this my immune system still being reactive after the flare? A food trigger? Something else entirely?

Has anyone gone through something similar — AD flare resolving and then hives starting? What helped you figure out the trigger? Any natural approaches that actually worked for managing this while you were figuring it out?

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who's been through this. Feeling a bit lost honestly.
