Which BIOS files do I need?
Hello. Sorry if this has been asked countless times before, but I don’t know whether there are obvious websites to avoid, and I don’t want to download viruses. I would really appreciate help with this.
(I’m using a Lenovo laptop with Windows 11; I downloaded DuckStation from duckstation.org just today, so I’m assuming it’s the most recent version.)
People in this subreddit have said to go to Internet Archive, but I’m not sure what files to download from there.
A website called psbios.me says ‘Download PS1 BIOS Files for All Regions — USA, PAL, NTSC, NGSC-J’. It presents four download options:
* SCPH1001.BIN (USA)
* SCPH7502.BIN (PA)
* SCPH5500.BIN (Japan)
* SCPH7003.BIN (Worldwide)
I can see the following similar files in ‘Files for the-ultimate-playstation-1-bios’ on Internet Archive:

Is it a problem that some of these are in uppercase and some are in lowercase? (The answer is probably very obvious. Sorry about that.)
Are the psbios.me files the correct files? If so, should I download them from there, or from Internet Archive?
Also, the Wizard seems to want NTSC-J, NTSC-U/C, and PAL. Is the Worldwide one unnecessary?
If all of these are incorrect, what should I download instead?

Looking for MGS1 (PS1) Save File - Big Boss Rank (Extreme Difficulty)
Hey everyone,
I’m looking for a save file for the original Metal Gear Solid (PS1) on Extreme difficulty to finish off a Big Boss rank run
My own run hit a wall, and I'm looking for a save at the last segment of the game (ideally right before escaping Shadow Moses or fighting with liquid)
I am using Duckstation, so a .mcd, .gme or .mcr file would be perfect
If anyone has a save like this tucked away on a memory card file, you'd be saving my life! Thanks!

Is it supposed to be this shaky or am I doing something wrong?
Game: Gran Turismo 2: project A-spec
Version: Prerelease 2 from 04.23.2024 (exact build version is unspecified)
Every MR car in project A-spec is behaving like that and FWDs are doing that too but to lesser extent. What's causing this?

Cars from distance is missing wheels [ Game: Racing Lagoon ]
Duckstation version 0.1-11267-ge4c55ad02 (dev)
Game: Racing Lagoon
As you can see from the picture the car in the distance loses it's wheels and is floating when it's on a distance.
Is there is any setting that can help me avoid this issue?
I searched on google and AI gave me some suggestions, I try them all and still same issue.
I think one of the buildings is also missing bottom part.
No idea if this is an emulator or game issue?

Is there a way to add scalefx to duckstation?
I moved scalefx shader from retroarch inside shades and didn't work. Does it need a specific file format or be at a certain folder?
I use this shared in swanstation and want to use use it now on the latest duckstation since swanstation which is the core of duckstation for retroarch is outdated.

Re2 dualshock Claire A no cheat codes for claire
As the title says. I like playing claire A/leon B. But when I look at the pre loaded codes I only see cheats for leon. I've tried activating leons to see if she would get it but it doesn't work. And I can't figure out for the life of me how to get some of hers. If anyone could help that would be great

Hello friends, I've been trying for days to fix culling issues in this game for widescreen, one of my favorites from when I was younger: Nightmare Creatures. The Duckstation widescreen and culling settings don't fix this. I used the free camera to get the screenshot, but basically at the very edges of the screen you can see textures and objects "tile" in and out depending on your camera angle. I've had no luck doing it on my own, and I'm admittedly very inexperienced with this kind of stuff. I've gone as far as trying to reverse engineer the code in Ghidra and still haven't had luck.
It sucks because this game doesn't have a huge following and not very many codes for it exist. If anybody could help, I'd be hugely appreciative!
Details about my setup: HP Victus 15L, 32GB RAM, AMD Radeon RX 5500 GPU. My display only runs at 1080p so that's what I have Duckstation set to.

I was thinking about a Sinden light gun but wanted to see what a Wii remote would do. There was a lot of conflicting tutorials on how to set this up, so after some trial and error I got something working and wrote it down so I wouldn’t forget. Maybe it’ll be helpful for someone too?

I've seen videos of people playing the games with no problem. I personally believe that my phone has the capability, so I'm assuming it's a settings/option thing? I used vimm.net to download my roms if that also helps diagnose...
