Now back to Balatro 🧐🤓
Switched it up with some white rum, fired up the Weber Jr and grilled some Brazilian style chorizo, some Johnsonville smoke bratwurst and some smoked pork chops. Then I pulled the whatnot on those onions.
It’s been a Monday…ok, ok, it’s been a year. Baching for a few days; had a few tiki drinks, dozed off on the couch, so it’s Thai curry mussels and top shelf Mai Tai at 1:30am - 21 yr El Dorado and 13 yr Assemblage #01 rums. And yes, I channeled the spirit of u/brokeaflazyaf and played “Life Is A Holiday” 👌🏻. Mussels - coconut milk, shallot, garlic, ginger, lemongrass, lime zest, Thai chilli, turmeric, coriander, finished with butter, lime juice, and basil.
Lawn work and beer this afternoon. Then made a garlic olive oil pasta with chicken apple sausage.
Served with a beertini..... Vodka, vermouth, olive brine, and beer. Haha.
I tried to make my fried rice look good. Still ate it, was delicious!
Cut everything up, wine break on balcony, keep on cookin & more wine. Tasted very good

i got like 6 handfulls into this shit before realziing that it might be better reaheated and eaten with a fork. the pudding i forgot i didnt have a clean whisk for and used a too small bowl and so its lumpy as hell. tastes good tho.

My partner and I enjoyed this dish so much that we wanna do one a month, if not more. Drop an ingredient you’d like us to use! Only caveats being that they’re celiac safe and plant based.
So I made them both. Also I’m a weirdo who puts my extra nacho toppings on one chip at a time.
It’s so good. Barely a hint of spice at the end. Don’t ask what cheese is in it cause the answer is literally any and all I could find in my fridge bc I was pretty drunk when making it lmao. Also no I didn’t make this for a party or a big group. It’s all mine. A full large crockpot full of Mac and cheese all for me. Don’t worry it thickened up pretty quick with the amount of cheese I put in it lmao.
