Just wanted to say I'm glad I was able to randomly check my email in time to catch almost the whole stream yesterday. It made reading all of King's oeuvre over the last few years and watching almost all of the adaptations feel like I was preparing for such a moment. I had so much fun in the chat and Scott took all of our shenanigans in stride! I was Alex Bolick in the chat if anyone was curious who kept making silly comments all stream.

Incredible insight! Have read the series 3x and almost all of SKs works but never really had anyone to talk with them about. Im excited to keep going and am just beyond grateful this podcast exists. One thing I wanted to mention, which I never saw mentioned before, is I feel matt was robbed of a key aspect of the series. In the beginning when Scott asked him what he knew about the series Matt said that the trailer of the movie showed NYC so he assumed that’s where the book took place mostly. Then when we came to the first door he was able to guess sort of correctly where it lead too. One of the biggest surprises I remember about the series,after spending time in the crazy world of the gunslinger and drawing of three was the sudden eruption into “our world” I guess I’m just bummed Matt didn’t get to experience that and curious if he would’ve been able to guess that without that shitty god forsaken movie.
