Struggling with PTSD. He’s learning to alert & soothe me. Could use some encouragement

Been really struggling with my PTSD (and anxiety) for a while now. Didn’t realize how bad it’s gotten. My Service Dog is towards the end of his training. I didn’t realize my PTSD is always “on”, so he senses it, but he didn’t know to alert me at certain times. Or how to comfort me. Unfortunately I came to this realization myself , 2 years into our training. (He is always alert and watches my back or “danger area”)

Thankful I had this epiphany and was able to ask him for what I needed in that moment of severe crisis. He is now picking up on it all on his own!!! As well as soothing me! Reminding me to breathe and rely on him for comfort.

I have reached out to those I can for help. But I could use some encouragement in general. Whatever that might be. Thank you all 🐶🥰

When they aren’t being majestic, they are giant goofs. Anatolians (and goats) aren’t immune to zoomies.

Judy, observing. Unbothered, happy, moisturized, in her lane. Second picture is what she was watching
