Hiiiii

I’m Rob and I’m a 30-something novice musician in the DFW area. I’ve been getting the itch to finally start playing music with others, so I wanted to try and put myself out there to find some other musicians to jam and play with.

I’m primarily a metal guitarist, and mostly interested in playing rhythm. I’m also more than willing to play bass as well, although you’d need to extend a bit of grace since it’s not my primary instrument. I’m open to learning and playing other genres past Metal too, primarily something in the rock/punk realm. My main goal is to just to hang out with some cool people and make some noise… doesn’t matter too much what it is!!

I sadly only have access to 6-string guitars and 4-string basses. Please reach out here on this thread or via DMs if you’d like to discuss.

I’m a non-music major looking for people that would be interested in starting a lil band or music group. Music is something I am extremely passionate about and something I intend to pursue for the rest of undergrad and post-grad, along with attending medical school. Unfortunately, Waco’s music scene is a bit less alt in comparison to Austin. For reference, I love the bedroom pop/dream pop sound (The 1975, Quiet Light, Banes World, Anna of the North). Indie folk too (Them and I, Adolescent Dreams).

I currently make my own music and do my own producing, but would love to connect with other people who’d be down to collab. I play the keys and prod my own stuff. DM me if ur tryna make something 😛
