Looking for a Unity dev to collaborate on a life sim project (Calrya)❤️

Hey guys! I’m currently working on a life simulation game called “Calrya”. It’s a medieval-style game focused on jobs, relationships, and building a life over time (generations). 🍄

I already have a prototype (movement, interaction, basic setup), and I’m looking for one Unity (or Godot) dev who’d be interested in collaborating and helping expand the systems.

Right now it’s just me and a pixel artist. I’m handling direction, systems, and design, and I want to keep the team small and consistent.

This is more of a collaboration-based setup (not a full salaried role), but I’m open to milestone-based pay as the project grows.

Main thing I’m looking for:

someone comfortable with Unity (2D).

interested in building something long-term.

communicates consistently.

If you’re interested, feel free to message me and I can share more about the project.

(The game is inspired by titles like Kynseed and Elnea Kingdom, especially in terms of life simulation, relationships, and long-term progression.)

Frontend Developer (Junior) – E-commerce / AI-Enhanced Site

I’m building a collectible card e-commerce platform (sports cards, Pokémon, TCG) and looking to bring on a junior frontend developer to help refine and elevate the site experience.

The site is already live and built in Lovable.dev, so this is not a from-scratch build. I need someone who can come in and help polish what’s already there—improving UI/UX, tightening layout consistency, and making the overall experience feel more premium and cohesive.

A big focus will be:

Improving animations and transitions (pack selection, reveal flow, etc.)

Cleaning up spacing, responsiveness, and visual hierarchy

Making the site feel smoother, more modern, and conversion-focused

Helping maintain consistency across pages and components

The project also uses AI tools (OpenAI + Replicate/FLUX) for image generation and visual assets, so experience (or strong interest) in working with AI-assisted workflows is a big plus.

I’m ideally looking for someone who:

Is early in their dev career or still in school

Has solid fundamentals in HTML/CSS/JavaScript

Has a good eye for design and UX (this matters a lot)

Is comfortable working inside Lovable.dev (or willing to learn quickly)

Communicates well and takes ownership of their work

Bonus: If you’re into card collecting (sports cards, Pokémon, etc.), that’s a big plus—you’ll naturally understand what makes this kind of experience feel legit and exciting.

This will start as a paid test project, with strong potential for ongoing work as the platform grows.

Fullstack Web Developer. If you need a website: Next.js / React / Node.js, I'm available for projects

Hey everyone, I'm a fullstack web developer with 5+ years of experience building production-ready web apps. I specialize in Next.js and React on the frontend, and I'm equally comfortable handling the backend, APIs, databases, and deployment.

Some of what I can help with: landing pages, SaaS dashboards, e-commerce builds, REST APIs, auth systems, and full end-to-end web applications. I care about clean code, good performance, and actually shipping things that work.

My stack includes Next.js, React, TypeScript, PHP, Python, Tailwind CSS, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and more. I'm comfortable picking up whatever the project needs.

Pricing is flexible and based on project scope, so feel free to reach out and we can talk through what you're building. Turnaround times vary by project but I communicate consistently and don't ghost.

Drop a comment or send me a DM if you're interested.

Final year engineer, no campus placement. Is it actually as bad as it feels, or am I overthinking? Honest answers appreciated.

ECE, government college in Andhra Pradesh. 7.2 CGPA. Campus placement season is essentially over at my college only 3–4 companies came, placed maybe 15–20 students total out of 180. I wasn't among them.

I've been sitting with this for a few weeks and trying to figure out what to do. I don't want the "don't give up" comments I want to understand: is the off-campus path realistic right now? Is the job market actually as bad as it seems? And if I want to learn a skill, which one makes sense for ECE background specifically?

Been reading some threads here and it seems like a lot of people are in the same situation. Would appreciate people who've actually been through this to share what worked.
