Deafheaven community looks out for each other.

I posted on here a couple of weeks ago. I mentioned that I was struggling mentally and that deafheaven kept me going. I still feel that way I'm still struggling. I was distraught when I was unable to post in here because I felt like that I found a community of like-minded people. I did recently post a picture of my copy of Lonely people with power and it just so happened to be on a crosley turntable. For some reason that's what everybody focused on and started making fun of the record player. And didn't just happen on this community I stupidly cross-posted into r/heavyvinyl like that was going to do something cool. Everyone seemed to miss the mark though about what the post was about. You can go find it if you'd like. Either way I still think the Deafheaven community is the best on the internet and they do care for each other. I'm going to continue to post stuff probably on my shitty crosley record player and everybody can get right over that. Because it's my record collection journey. If anybody has such a problem with the Crosley they'd like to make a donation to me having a really nice record player that would be lovely but I don't think that'll happen.

Let's stop focusing on division and material things that divide us. There's too much hate in this world. But there's one thing that unites all of us and that's the beautiful atmospheres of deafheaven.

Let's take care of each other. Please. I need you all I don't have anyone else.

New Bermuda.

New Bermuda, a beautiful album that goes deep into the soul. It cames as a gift from a dear girlfriend of mine.

I really find this album precious and emotional (just like the other Deafheaven albums, but in a diferent way). I want to share this new arrival with all you. ¿What's your favorite song from this one?

Lonely People With Power - LP Blue Vinyl

I got this copy a bit ago. But I was always of the mind to take better photos, maybe and entire photoshoot of the inserts. I love this album. My brother recently celebrated his 40th and he received his first HiFi style (similar to mine). He came over and I gave him a stack with this LP. He knows they're my favorite band. His is Ghost which of course I bought him and LP of. I was so happy to pass Deafheaven off to someone new. He's liked what I've played so far. But an LP is an intimate thing.

Any help

Can anyone tell me where the sound byte at the beginning of Punk Rock/Cody off Deafheaven’s split with Bosse-de-Nage is from? I’ve searched a few times but never found the source material.

Mombasa

my personal favourite deafheaven song, i interpret it as a depiction of an elderly persons last days which has naturally come to an end. i think that this song speaks of grief like no other. “hillside castles baking down to sand” a life of somebody that was once full, recounting childhood memories from the hospital bed, their body been broken down due to old age and illness and in the end they are returned to their natural state. witnessing the deterioration of somebody you love and finding peace with it when they have reached the end. the ending of the song is extremely cathartic as well, i have never heard this feeling of witnessing somebody in this state put so beautifully
