Respectfully, wtf
Front & back camera angles in the video.
New video with more context: https://www.reddit.com/r/dashcams/s/BKrfT4QUsM
Editing to add context (thank you @dragongotz): there was no need to signal/check the lane due to the way the road layout was designed. There was no lane change done by the Tesla. No traffic should be in that lane unless someone does breaks the law and crosses the doubles/intersection and enter oncoming traffic briefly and powers through, just like the black SUV.
Dude in red car really had god-tier situational awareness in that moment
Respectfully, wtf (updated video with more context)
See people, no lane change here.
If you think this is my fault, see my previous post which has the back camera angle of the SUV crossing double yellows and cutting me off.
Utah drivers be drivin
Yeah I'm just glad that he didn't try to punch it in the reverse. It's like if you're going to make a u-turn on the highway you better know how your car turns
Slammed into from behind by a tow truck. Airbags deployed. Captured on VIOFO A229. Sadly my cable for my rear cam broke a few days ago.
hit by a freightliner tow truck from behind… had to have hit me at least 25/30 mph.
Plywood decimates my windshield on the highway
Didn’t die but I got glass in my coffee
Temperature safe conditions?
Should I be worried about this windshield cover cooking my camera? Or should it be fine??
Always expect idiots
Just as the title says, always expect idiots to be...idiots.
I always look for people who pull up on side roads to go without looking.
If I hadn't been already expecting him to pull out (my foot was resting on the brake pedal already), I probably would've hit him.
Also, I'm assuming he apologized as he turned on his blinkers in a weird fashion near the end of the video.
Also, apologies for the yell/swear.
