Round 2 begins today, where you can claim unclaimed lands anywhere (just comment the name of the unclaimed land you want). The unclaimed lands will be named based on both NATO phonetic alphabet and the Greek alphabet (to differentiate the Greek from the NATO one in case of duplication, the Greek ones will be called _Ellinika).

We are inching closer to the stage where you can begin to invade and annex large chunks that remain. Since the amount of remaining land for some of the places is close to zero, I might begin Round 2 sooner than I thought I would. We will see for sure, I’ll make the comment on one of these posts when that will actually happen! Day 11 begins now!

I want to thank everyone for being active as they have been! It’s been great running this game and feeling like people are actually wanting to play (it was a rough beginning for sure). In any event, since Selenus and SuD are running low on options to expand without making their expansion options too tiny, I’m deciding today is the last day for Round 1 (the pick one out of 2 choices one). Tomorrow, I’ll divvy up land and give them NATO alphabet names and you can choose any one regardless of where it is at. The only rule is: you only get ONE choice per day (it’ll be more than two options to choose from).

We will give every day of the year an official name. I will make a new post every single day. You can suggest an official name for that day. The most upvoted comment determines the name. Ties are won by the earliest comment. Only first comments in a chain will be considered.

The rules are very simple:

• Please only downvote a comment in rare cases. It is not allowed to downvote all other comments except your own. If I suspect you of doing this, I will not use your suggestion.
• No two days can be named exactly the same.
• Do not make the name too long (it must fit in the box in the image)
• It must end with 'Day' (if your comment doesn't include it, I will add it).
• Please keep it SFW.

All of the unclaimed or abandoned spawn points are NOW available to be annexed. However, the 2 choice annexation decisions will still remain (I am giving the 3 choices option just for today as a reward for the players who have been active to conclude Week 1), so you’ll only be able to actually take that vacant spot once you have already claimed the land surrounding that area. Inactive areas are PROHIBITED from being annexed/invaded until Day 15.

Welcome to Shapelandia! In this experience, you get to become a shape and do whatever you want! (As long as it makes sense and is realistic). As of right now, there is no one here except for me. So for the next two days, people will spawn into the game. To become part of the game, you must:

1. Choose a regular polygon from 3-16 and also 1 sides, (any type of quadraleteral is allowed.) Your shape will be able to squish and stretch within physical capabilities.

2. Choose a unique hexcode. This will be your main color. Choose wisely.

3. Choose a unique 2 letter initial. This is so that i can identify who you are.

Not much to say for beginning Day 9, to be honest. We did have some newcomers join on Day 8 (they aren’t new to the series, I must say, but are new to this specific game). Anyhow, there’s still lots of opportunities to expand. For those that Gamma is their first game, what will happen on Day 15 is that the remaining vacant lands will be divided into pieces and given NATO phonetic names. Unlike what you are doing now, these lands can be claimed by anyone regardless of where they are located.

Anyhow, here’s Day 9

every day someone will comment a string of notes lasting a single bar. how they want to do it is up to them. they could sketch it, use a website, or even just comment it if it's simple enough. just as long as they can convey the music clearly. also, there will only be a melody.

other than that, there really aren't any rules for what you can or can't do. as long as it works in musical notation, it's fine.
