My dad only one day after saying that he didn't want kittens at home
Dad with the dog he wouldn't let me get as a kid
My cat thinks he’s the Boss
My dad with the dog he INSISTED my mom could not bring home
He was vehemently opposed to having another dog after I moved out of the house with my dog and their senior dog passed away. Now they are best friends and snuggle like this every single day.
From "we're not getting another dog" to assisting in squirrel watch duty
"Good lad! Good lad!"
He came from a family that doesn’t like cats
Beagles can always find the weak one
And the weak one is always the dad
My husband and the cat he didn't want.
He gave in and let me adopt this cat when I found out I couldn't have more kids. They're besties now.
If you're wondering what breed this cat is, he is a genuine, pure bred "hawk dropped him in a field." It's pretty rare but worth the find.
If this looks like a weird angle that's because it was filmed upside down and I had to flip it
The kids picked out a new cat, whom I did not particularly want, and now he lives on my shoulders, which are raw and bloody from kitten claws
"I do not *want* a dog. I will *have* a dog bc it's important to you."
One year later 🖤🩷🤍 Absolutely smitten with each other.
He refuses to admit he likes the cats
Damian was "my mom's cat," despite her also protesting she never wanted a cat. Since Mom passed, Dames has latched on to dad, a self-proclaimed cat hater.
Never mind the fact that it was ME who brought him in and raised him from kittenhopd and buys him food and toys and friends and...oh well. At least I have the dog and cat #3...
