East campus (unfurnished)

So I’m being placed in east campus and it’s unfurnished. So I’m aware there is no furniture for the living room area, is there no beds or bed frame in the rooms. Can anyone explain what is and isn’t there.

Transfer Orientation Day

I currently live in SoCal and I’m unable to attend the mandatory in person orientation for transfer students. Does anyone know if there’s a way to do it online?

Need: 1 extra ticket for graduation

Hey everyone. Since additional tickets were released today I thought I'd get on here quick and see if anyone can spare 1 ticket for graduation. I accidentally miscounted and am now a ticket short.

Hello! I am very worried as the semester is coming to an end and I am definitely going to fail my anthropology class (already am :(). This is definitely because of my own negligence and personal issues getting in the way. I am scared that I will have to possibly repay the school any money as I did accept the middle class scholarship and financial aid.. Is this something I will have to do :(?? I am a bit scared about being up front with my parents and upsetting them as I don't know if it could be a huge sum of money if that's the case. I am going to be switching majors next semester but what should I prepare for if anything bad happens

Hello, so sadly I may not be able to attend the fall semester next year due to financially I just can't deal with the costs, even though I thought I would be able to.

I went the other day to admitted otter day and I committed but now that I may be going to a community college for the first 2 years of college, how would I un-commit?

CSUMB is my top choice for colleges when I apply next year, however, one of the reasons I hesitate is because it doesn't sound like there's a lot of single dorms. I have a diagnosed anxiety disorder for almost 15 years already. I panic if I have to share a room with someone while I sleep. I have never been able to do sleepovers. I won't even sleep in the same room as siblings. Is there any possibility of a single dorm room in college? Or are the few single dorms that CSUMB does have given to those with physical disabilities? (which I totally undestand)

The other school I'm looking at has almost all single dorms, but I'd prefer CSUMB if possible.

Hii! Im not sure if anybody can help but im looking for a studio or one bedroom place starting June 1st just for 6 months. I’ve been searching around but it’s been hard to find spots at or under $2,000 and just thought I’d make a post to see if anyone has any leads. Word of mouth is always worth a shot. Thanks for any advice in advance!!

Hey all! I built a free workout tracking app called Fortis: Workout Log & Tracker (iOS and Android) and looking for some Mines students to try it out.

Figured this crowd would be a good fit honestly. Between the SRC, South Table, and whatever else people are doing to decompress from the STEM grind, there’s a lot of training happening on campus. Fortis is basically Strava but for lifting, custom exercises, templates, progress tracking over time, and the ability to share workouts with friends so you can actually see what other people are doing.

Still early but it works well if you’re trying to stay consistent. All feedback welcome, good or bad.

Anyone working out regularly, give it a shot and let me know what you think 😁

Hi everyone! I'm conducting a research study that aims to acknowledge and address disparities in STEM education for UC and CSU students. The study is being conducted via a RedCap survey that should take about 15 minutes to complete. If students complete the survey, they will be receive a $10 gift card.

It would be greatly appreciated if you all could send this flyer out to friends too!!

hi! so this is a dumb question but I have been looking online and I can’t find anything. I checked the school website and maps but what housing/ apartments is Gettysburg Ct? Ive tried looking for an address to see where it’s located because I was in a transfer group that told me I would be in Promontory. Anyways I know this is a dumb question I just can’t find anything to answer it.
