Hi everyone! I am looking to make this cardigan to wear during the spring and summer when I want to wear less than the zip ups I usually wear. I was wondering what kind of yarn would be best to make this out of? I live in California is where it gets into the 100s so a nice breathable yarn would be nice. I’ve heard that weight 3 yarn is good, and also natural fibers like cotton and bamboo, but I’m struggling to find both in one yarn, especially a yarn with a cute color. So should I prioritize yarn type or yarn size more for something like this? I really don’t want to have to order online because I’m picky with the way things feel, and there are no locally owned yarn shops near me, but I do have access to a hobby lobby and a Micheal’s. Any help at all will be amazing, thank you!

I turned a classic red-cap mushroom into a twirl-ready skirt. The dense red stitching gives you that iconic cap shape, the fluffy white edging is pure storybook, and yes those are actual little mushroom ties because details matter. This is for the girlies who kiss frogs, name their houseplants, and think "subtle" is a boring hobby.

Mushroom Skirt pattern is available

Sizes

S,M,L,XL,XXL,XXXL

hook: 5mm

Best yarn for crochet summer tops/tank tops — cotton or bamboo?

Hi everyone! I want to make some lightweight summer crochet tops/tank tops and I’m confused about which yarn to choose — 100% cotton or bamboo yarn.

I’ve read mixed opinions online. I mainly want something that: feels soft on the body, is breathable for hot weather, works well for lightweight tank tops/camis, doesn’t become too heavy or saggy after wearing

This will also be my first wearable project, so I’d really appreciate beginner-friendly yarn recommendations too.

Would you recommend:

100% cotton

100% bamboo

or a cotton-bamboo blend?

Also, if you have any favorite yarn brands for summer wearables, please share them!”

Chocolate brown & ivory white camisoles I crocheted

Single and half-double crochet stitches, 160-175 grams of yarn each, 2.5 mm crochet hook

The brown one is made with Loro Piana cotton, and the white one with Loro Piana silk

Chevron motiv crochet top 😱😱 I don’t know how to adjust the length

Hello everyone ❤️ my friend requested a crochet chevron top like the one in the photo (I know it’s AI but is just for reference, I found a pattern on YouTube). I found a very complete tutorial but I don’t get one thing: how can you adjust the length?
I only find crop top pattern 🥲🥲

Thankyou to everyone taking the time to answer 🌸
