Hunters funniest/grossest idioms

I swear he always has the most absurd way to frame something. I’m trying to compile them all together to begin using in my life. So give me his best

As a new listener, it seems Borrasca should be a mandatory first listen...

I’ve been jumping around listening to past episodes out of order, and Borrasca keeps coming up so often that I feel like I’ve already picked up most of the major spoilers..(though it’s looks long so maybe I haven’t?). Anyway, I’m finally going to start it properly now. But honestly, if I ever recommend this show to someone, I feel like I’d have to tell them to listen to that episode just to understand the context of why it's brought up.

What’s everyone’s favorite underrated story? One that hit you hard.

I’ll go first,

mines the “I woke up in the hospital two weeks ago, everyone seems… off?” Story from the episode called “The Flight Attendants Won’t Stop Crying” where it’s one of the two stories they read in that episode. I don’t know why but it was just so fucking good especially the FaceTiming part not to spoil it tho. Any others? Im a huge fan but still haven’t listened to every episode

Combining my two autistic hyperfixations

This is Isaiah Iverson. He is Spider-Goon. His backstory is that his dad took him hunting after Isaiah had a bad scare with an allergic reaction to a spider bite. But this spider was different. It was evil and made Isaiah's subconscious evil for a little. Isaiah and his dad got lost while hunting and Isaiah ate his dad to avoid starvation and his subconcious appeared as a wengo to tormebt him and so Isaiah is going around from city to city to run from his problems. He eventually meets a very nice woman and tries to settle down but the skeletons of his closet are chasing him. His sort of friend/situation-ship, Dead-Meat (hunter) will be posted soon once I finish his drawing. also he has four eyes because that's super cool awesome

They call him the most flamboyant straight man in all of Kansas City

What I pictured Luke Acker from C.K. Walker's "Whitefall" as, thanks to Hunter's fruity voice acting. Can't believe that guy had a girlfriend towards the end.

I really like this story. I can’t understand the negative reactions people have had to it lately. Sure, it’s not perfect, but the plot really drew me in, and I really liked the characters. I think Walker is a very good author, even if her stories aren’t perfect and “Borrasca IV” being “Borrasca IV”—but I LOVE the way she brings her characters to life; in that regard, she’s one of the best to do it.

Side note: This was clearly a plot by Big Vending to test the behavior of the average consumer in extreme situations. Think about it: The people in there, throwing money into the vending machines until they have none left, and testing their preferences for snacks and soda—that’s truly brilliant. Who else could have built this maze? Mars Inc., of course, with a horde of bulldozers! And their enforcers? Acker, for example, because the first thing he did on the bus was to tout the Milky Way bar to a half-starved test-subject to win over a life-long customer. Them commiting cannibalism was, naturally, of rudimentary importance for the statistical analysis. /j

Where did the indestructible pedophile bit come from exactly?

I have seen and heard the bit multiple times and I want to say it's from Spire but just thought I'd ask to be sure.

Edit: So for anyone curious like me its in reference to Tommy Taffy but the actual bit started in the Flight Attendants Won't Stop Crying.

The boys need to read isolation(2021) by William rayne please🥹

This is a short 30 min story so it could be a full episode or a creepy grab bag but the plot have a similar feeling to “im blind, im not sure how many steps my staircase has” it’s about a guy being recommended to go into a 14 days isolation by his therapist and weird event start happening. I think hunter would really love this story because it have the feeling of the start of feed the pig too and Isiah will love the psychological horror of it

Horror Adjacent Media

Not explicitly creepypasta but I had a conversation in work about the likes of Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared and Salad Fingers. I think these would be interesting for a Creep TV style episode

Need help finding a bit (no reason)

Does anyone remember which episode Hunter said, “I want the guy from Nintendo of America, what was his name? Reggie? I want Reggie! Breed me Reggie!”

I need to find this clip for personal reasons. Reaching out to the chroniclers of creep.
