Helping with jumping?

I have a 7month old cockapoo and he has a bad habit of jumping on people. It’s been hard with him jumping because I tend to be around kids a lot and even tho he is small and will stay small it’s not bad bothersome for adults but the scary for the kids. What is some trick to help him stop jumping on people.

Helping with biting?

I have a 7 month old cockapoo and he’s started a habit when he starts to play or get excited he starts to bite or bite when he wants attention.

When he starts biting when he’s playing or excited I try to redirect him to a toy and that works for like a minute or so and then he’s right back to biting.

When he does it for attention I try to ignore it to try to not give him and positive feed back or to show him that biting is not a way to get attention.

Is there any tricks to help with him biting. I know he’s only a puppy but I want to work on it so when he gets older that he doesn’t keep doing it.
