This modpack (Cobbleverse) has taken over my life.
My fianceé recently picked up Pokopia and, thanks to both of us being laid off, has had the opportunity to sink a solid ~150 hours or so into it. We both stream gameplay to each other in Discord often, her via a capture card, and so I thought it would be a funny bit to play "Pokopia at home." I had very lightly dabbled in Pixelmon back in the day, but I much prefer the Cobblemon aesthetic and approach.
I loved what the out-of-the-box Cobblemon modpack was able to showcase, but it felt lacking in terms of progression and depth. I learned about Cobbleverse and decided to pivot before putting too much time into the base Cobblemon modpack.
Holy cow bro. Night after night of accidentally sraying up til 3, 4, 4:30am. I'm loving every moment. My face when I was able to first fly? Insane. Shaders and seeing Pokemon roam across the sunrise? Spectacular. Realizing EV and IVs were accounted for? Begrudgingly happy. Hearing my first shiny notification? Surprised.
I'm in deep. I'm very much looking forward to when our friend group collectively gets that 2-week Minecraft itch, because I typically manage the server set-up and I'll be advocating for this bad boy of a modpack.
