A VERY well aged Padron Black this fine afternoon.

Also the toothiest wrapper I’ve had on a cigar in a while.

Have you ever seen tooth sparkle like a diamond in the sun?

Doing some yardwork and its a beautiful sunny day. I've never seen a cigar wrapper sparkle in the sun like this. Has anyone else seen this before?

The Padron 2000 is becoming a favorite for a random quick-ish smoke.

What's everyone smoking on this fine Masters Weekend?

Pairing Chronicles #381: Lusitanias + 12 year old Venezuelan rum

The chocolate sensations in the Lusitanias are really something else. There's also pepper and a bit of cedar and coffee grains, but the chocolate intensity is top. On the other side of the pairing is a 12 year old Venezuelan rum, distilled by Santa Teresa, but bottled by Bristol Classics, in the UK at 47% ABV, with no additives or color correction.

Although the Partagas burned really bad, it was by the halfway point where it was under apparent control. Still, it was almost two hours of a great time and I felt less guilty for finishing the bottle.

Oliva Serie V

This thing burned like a champ the whole way through and was super smooth. It had maybe 2 weeks of rest in my Tupperdor at 69% humidity.

Rock the “Band” or No

I tend to judge cigars with my eyes first so I love good looking bands. I leave them on until the cigars burns to the point I have to take it off. Without the band it feels like any old cigar. I’m sure people will say it’s only the taste that matters, and in the end it does, but I never remove it first. What do you do?

Flor De Las Antillas Maduro

The 1st inch of ash was perfect then after that it got flakey maybe I should have dry boxed it for day. Still a great smoke. I always loved the flor de las Antillas but I didn’t try the Maduro version until fairly recently. Everyone in here was right it’s really good. 👍🏼
